Adam joined the Whisper on Oct. 13 in Montreal. Very quiet, little interaction with guests and few announcements.

Your blog is fantastic. Cruising with SS since 1994, we enjoyed revisiting ports while reading your journal. New ports were visited through your eyes and experiences. Many will enjoy your experiences.
Thank you.

Spent a week at the Novotel in Southampton between two SS cruises end of August this year. It is clean, comfortable and has free wifi in entire. Second time stayed there. Visited with cruising friends. Easy access to various areas, depending if you have a car or check on local tour availability to Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Mary Rose for example.

Just off Cloud on 31st of August. Every waiter in the DR told guests that in addition to the menu that the 24 hour menu is also available in the DR. You can get steaks, spaghetti and all the items which used to be on the left on the former menus and also the sorbet which is not listed. On Whisper in 3days for a month.
-
Visited the Whisper on 8/9 in Tallinn when both Cloud And Whisper were in port. Norman and Corsaro were both on and will be on when we board on 9/8 in Southampton.
-
Did anyone mention giving your credit card company a listing of all the countries you will be visiting. Also ATM cards. We do this for 66 days too. Best to call them, as most do not have enough spaces online.

Cloud cruises for June through August show on website now. 5/31/15
We are on for the month of August and those cruises are waitlisted.

Silverseanew revamped boutiques
What SS needs is the logo items returned to the ship boutiques.
Shirts, collared and tee, tote bags, crystal star ornaments, etc.
All the things we have from the first few years, still have and are asked 'where can I get that'. They continue to fix things that are not broken.

International flavor of Silversea
Cruising with Silversea for 20 years has introduced us to many of our friends from around the world. As a result we look forward to spending a day visiting with them in their home town when Silversea takes us there again.

Three times on Spirit, prefer observation to panorama for stitching and reading (better lighting) and love the two tv's (watch those steps :). Enjoy warm sunshine.

Watch your Kindle account. If not passworded or passcoded (on paperwhites ). They can purchase books on your account.
Hopefully this is not the case.

Tokyo to Seward
Did this cruise in May 2004 first time Silversea went to Alaska. Interesting trip, waited for Russian sub before leaving Russia, crossing the Bering Sea to Dutch Harbor and on to Kodiak. Found Dutch Harbor very interesting. Visited US Navy Seabees Museum, very interesting lifestyle and school bus drivers had great info send stories. Three days crossing can be a bit rough. Enjoy.

Bangkok pollution is very bad. Many on 2013 cruise affected and we returned home with bronchitis. Might take some masks along. Port area was okay. Many, many people at Grand Palace
-
Great location in Cairns for docking. Lots of restaurants, casino, micro brewery-Blue Sky- and a great place to walk day and night. Enjoy. Many time there, always something new.
