  1. All of the AquaClass cabins on Edge feature the infinite verandah...
  2. Best I know, Holland America is the only cruise line that allegedly--I have no first-hand experience--has a priest aboard on every sailing...
  3. Assuming that you have some time before your sailing date--I want to say that Celebrity cuts off issuance of mailed luggage tags several weeks before--yes, you can reorder...
  4. If you have purchased your airline tickets via Flights By Celebrity, it is not uncommon for e-doc issuance to lag by several weeks. With the way airline schedules/flight numbers change [and may yet change; you should do a final confirmation just before traveling], Celebrity attempts to provide the most up-to-date flight information in the e-docs while still providing information that is as timely as possible... If you have not purchased air via Flights By Celebrity, I agree that--with 34 days until boarding the ship--a call to Captain's Club may well be in order...
  5. I understand that... Completing online check-in and printing your boarding passes are not contingent upon issuance of your electronic cruise documents; all one need do to perform those functions is to have made final payment... Securing luggage tags--either by online order or by printing them yourself--is contingent upon issuance of the e-docs [in fact, your luggage tags will be included in your e-docs if you choose to print them yourself]... With about 500 days aboard Celebrity since 2009, I assure you that my advice is sound... Try again late next week; you are too early given
  6. For those in The United States and Canada, luggage tags are still available for online order and mailing to your home... That said, the online link to order them is not available until your e-docs are issued; that typically happens 49 days [7 weeks] prior to your sailing date [and sometimes, a bit less]... By my quick estimate, you're a bit early as the boarding date for you cruise is a bit more than eight weeks out....
  7. RFID SeaPass Card; tap door lock to open...
  8. If departing tomorrow, it appears that Infinity has indeed been assigned to Terminal G... https://www8.miamidade.gov/Apps/Seaport/dailydock/SSRSReportDock.aspx
  9. Typically Celebrity uses Terminal G at PortMiami but, for a variety of reasons, assignment could differ... Plenty of clear signage as one enters the port...
  10. The confusion may stem from the fact that while Reflection has not yet been revolutionized the ship does use the mobile app, the streamlined check-in process, and RFID SeaPass cards that are typically introduced once a ship has been revolutionized... Reflection and Constellation were the test ships for introduction of those new technologies/processes in preparation for the introduction of Edge and staged implementation across the rest of the fleet but the further ability to retrieve one's SeaPass card and to drop-off hand luggage at one's stateroom on boarding--as some expected in anticipati
  11. You are correct that your daughter may attend the cocktail hour and morning coffee break by virtue of sharing a room with you as an Elite Captain’s Club member... That said she will not be entitled to things like the complimentary laundry or internet allowances for which you are eligible by virtue of your loyalty...
  12. Took a taxi from FLL to Port Everglades on 29 November and from Port Everglades to FLL on 9 December... Without gratuity, taxi is metered with a current minimum charge of $16...
  13. I dined at Tuscan Grille twice--great food/service--during my recent cruise aboard Reflection [29 November until 9 December]...
  14. My experience too... Best I can tell--I just looked at my Sea Pass cards from past cruises [including one that ended earlier this month]--Celebrity has always used CALL to designate Classic Alcohol Package and PALL to designate Premium Alcohol Package... mickey89... I have no idea why Celebrity has chosen to add an extra "L"--it may have something to do with their Information Systems--but their offering/their procedures and practices... From a guest perspective, it doesn't matter so long as the associated coding is correct in terms of eligibility...
  15. Premium and Classic alcohol package, respectively... My understanding is that it is not uncommon to see both online if you have upgraded... One code will be printed on your SeaPass once aboard.
  16. I alluded to the former "Cruise Credit" system in my more recent post above... On Celebrity, it awarded.. One Cruise Credit for sailing... An additional Cruise Credit for cruises of twelve nights or longer An additional Cruise Credit for guests occupying an AquaClass veranda, a Concierge Class veranda, or a Suite... Under the "Cruise Credit" system, the maximum number of credits one could earn for a single sailing was three... And you are correct, one earned Elite tier status [highest at the time] in Captain's Club upon earning ten Cruise Credits... O
  17. While you are correct today, Azamara did not start awarding five cruise points/night for occupancy of a verandah cabin--it had been three--until 1 January 2015... By comparison, Celebrity had been awarding five cruise points/night [or an additional cruise credit under the former loyalty accounting system] to those sailing in AquaClass or Concierge Class verandas for years...
  18. Celebrity's Captain's Club has five membership tiers and Azamara's Le Club Voyage has five memberships tiers... Though the tiers have different names on each of the lines, both accrue cruise points based upon stateroom category per night with identical cruise point requirements per membership level and points cross-accumulate across the two lines... Through Celebrity's Elite tier [Discoverer on Azamara], the benefits are essentially the same when it comes to laundry and internet time [Azamara's cruise fares include basic drinks/alcohol]. At Celebrity's Elite + tier [Discoverer +
  19. If you are sailing AquaClass, smoothies are offered in Blu at breakfast...
  20. Solstice is the only Solstice-Class ship that features a few AquaClass cabins on Deck 11 Aft...
  21. I can’t account for your experience other than to say that your schedules have not coincided... I disembarked Reflection yesterday and my Stateroom Attendant was awesome...
  22. On Reflection now... Café al Bacio [Deck 5] hours are 6:30 AM until midnight... Il Secondo Bacio [beverages only; Deck 14 in The Oceanview Café (port)] follows similar hours...
  23. If you are sailing in Concierge Class on Edge, you likely have a stateroom with an Infinite Veranda... There is no coffee table in the room and, as I suspect you know, there is no outdoor access to the balcony as there is on other ships... I found Room Service dining on Edge to be a chore...
  24. Both Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Summit were docked at St. Kitt's yesterday... About forty guests--equally split between the two ships--did a tour to Nevis... It was a treat to see that Journey--complete with a few Azamara crew members I recognized from the past--was at anchor while we were there...
