  1. The shows are typically scheduled at 7:00 and 9:00 PM...
  2. 7:45 is indeed peak dining time... If you are planning to attend the 7:00 PM show prior to having dinner, a 7:45 dining reservation might be a few minutes early in terms of seeing the end of the show and then walking from the theater [forward] to the main dining rooms [aft].
  3. Silhouette will not use the app until the ship has been revolutionized... X website is down for maintenance at the moment but I seem to recall that work is occurring over several weeks in January/February 2020...
  4. Those who've attained Diamond, Diamond Plus or Pinnacle level in Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society are recognized as Elite members of Celebrity's Captain's Club on a reciprocal basis... Similarly, those who've attained Elite, Elite Plus or Zenith level in Celebrity's Captain's Club are recognized as Diamond members of Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society on a reciprocal basis... To my mind [some see it differently], the benefits associated with Elite membership in Captain's Club are roughly comparable to--but not the same as--those provided to Crown & Anchor
  5. The nightly shows are usually scheduled for 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM... Celebrity does not publish entertainment or activity schedules--tentative or firm--in advance... Once aboard, the final details will be available to you via the app and in print...
  6. Prior to introduction of Edge about a year ago, the app was initially tested on two ships that have not yet been revolutionized... One of those ships was Reflection [revolution scheduled for February 2023] and, to the best I recall, Constellation [revolution scheduled for May 2020] was the other... After sailing Edge twice earlier this year and successfully getting my bar-coded Xpress Passes for expedited check-in via the app on both, I am sailing Reflection on 29 November and can confirm that the app is indeed working for that cruise too... I use my laptop rather tha
  7. Bed position does not alternate on the Millennium-Class ships as it does on the Solstice-Class ships
  8. Typically, expedited arrival is assigned to those sailing in a suite and to those who are Zenith members in Captain's Club... If you are in either of those categories, inquire when contacted by a Shoreside Concierge when contacted several weeks prior to you embarkation...
  9. While the Sunset View balconies on Edge are large and inviting--for me, they're certainly far more appealing than the Infinite Verandahs [not a fan; loved Edge but twice with that feature was enough], I'm not sure that they are any larger in terms of total square footage than some of those irregularly shaped ones located "on the slants" of the Solstice-Class ships. And as I suspect you know, they seem to be way smaller than any of the aft balconies [Family Verandah and Concierge 1] located on Decks 7 through 9 of the Millennium-Class ships. With no need for a suite, I'll certainly
  10. Celebrity often conducts systems back up, maintenance, and updates on Saturday nights/Sunday mornings (Eastern time)... It’s been their practice for years and some weeks it takes longer than others... Suggest you try again periodically but it might yet take a few hours...
  11. It is likely, but not assured, that Equinox will used Celebrity's new Terminal 25 at Port Everglades... If there is more than one Celebrity ship at Port Everglades on the day of your sailing--or if there is maintenance scheduled at the terminal on that day--your actual terminal assignment may differ... The Port Everglades website lists terminal assignments--with relative accuracy save for last minute changes--up to seven days before your travel date... You'll find that link here... https://pevvesseltraffic.broward.org/webx/ Once you have determined the ter
  12. On Millennium Class, the C1 staterooms are all located on the aft and feature huge balconies... They’re very popular, tend to be booked quickly and command a price premium...
  13. The Port Everglades website shows Silhouette at Terminal 25 on Thursday [14 November], Edge at Terminal 25 on Friday [15 November], and Equinox at Terminal 25 on Saturday [16 November]. Unless something has changed that I can't otherwise detect, Reflection is not scheduled to arrive at Port Everglades following her Transatlantic until Monday, 18 November... The Port Everglades website posts anticipated terminal assignments seven days in advance [ie; tomorrow for Reflection's arrival at/departure from Fort Lauderdale on 18 November]...
  14. This sort of wind-induced ceiling damage in the "Deck 14.5" smoking area seems to be Edge's Achille's Heal... While we did not encounter anything close to the very severe weather that you have during this crossing, the same thing happened to a lesser degree in the same area at least once--perhaps twice--during Edge's eastbound Transatlantic to Southampton in April/May... And in fact, some of those ceiling slats were clattering/compromised a bit/received minor reinforcement during relatively ideal conditions while I was aboard in the Caribbean during March... Hopefully, Celebrity
  15. Reservations unnecessary/not accepted on any Celebrity ship...
  16. Flights By Celebrity--previously known as Choice Air--is a subcontracted airline consolidator and not a travel agent... Generally--and especially on international flights--their fares are lower, and sometimes significantly so, than if you were to have purchased via a travel agent or the airline itself... For instance, I used Flights By Celebrity in June 2018 to purchase a one-way business class ticket to travel from London Heathrow to Houston/Houston to Florida in May 2019 following Edge's Transatlantic ... My price was $1374 [great!]; on the same day, United was offering the identical one
  17. Only the Solstice-Class ships [Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse, Silhouette and Reflection] have the lawn area and, of those, only two--Silhouette and Reflection--have the Lawn Club Grill [LGC]... The others have the Hot Glass facility in the same area... With respect, believe that you may have seen an ad for Le Petit Chef [LPC] while recently aboard Summit...
  18. In three visits to Fine Cuts, I never saw anyone eating outdoors either... If you found the views acceptable there, you will likely find the views from Blu acceptable as both are located along the exterior Deck 5 promenades with related infrastructure... Raw On Five is a bit better when the Magic Carpet is "parked" there... The views from Blu, Tuscan Grille, and Qsine [or predecessor Silk Harvest] on Solstice-Class ships are commanding without the encumbrances that I find visually unappealing [but admittedly, without the opportunities for outdoor dining that the Deck 5 dining ve
  19. There is a small outdoor area--a smaller portion of which allows smoking--on the port side of Deck 5 off of Eden... On the deck plan, you will see the entrance to that outdoor area--well aft of Blu--opposite the aft-most public restrooms... As you are looking at a stateroom on the starboard side of Deck 6, no chance of smoke incursion... The other smoking areas on Edge are located--for lack of a better description--on Deck "14.5" that is accessible via a single flight stairway adjacent to the Mast Grill/Pool Bar with another on Deck 15 that is aft of the Rooftop Garden in route t
  20. There are windows in Blu on Edge but they don't look out with the same sweeping/unobstructed view that they do on Solstice Class ships. Instead, they look out on Deck 5 [there are tables out there for Blu guests who desire outdoor seating; in 22 nights on Edge--a week in the Caribbean;; 15 nights on the Spring Transatlantic--I never saw anyone use them] and ship infrastructure [as you'll note from the photo you posted]. Most often [especially at dinner], the window shades in Blu were kept lowered to create a more appealing view. Same is true for the Specialty Restaurants located
