Hi everyone
My husband and I sailed on Oasis, August 27. We did register the sailing through the program but we only received our 2 points per night for the suite booking. I called C&A and they said there was a back log but that the points would be posted "eventually".
Anyone else run in to this or sailed with us and received their double points?
Thanks
Lisa
Lisa,
We sailed on August 13 and I called about our points not posting and they told me it could take up to 6 weeks to post because it had to be done manually. :0))) Just keep any eye on it ...

Thanks for the pics! We will be there this weekend on Majesty. Thanks for the info, photos and map. Many folks never venture towards the back area and can easily miss the bar and new additions.
The additions look terrific

Nope, most people stop at the first beach :D
We love the walk to the other side, have to work off those Coco Locos

In either of these areas, are you close to a water area for "swimming" - interpret that as shallow water that I can go out into to cool down - not actual "swimming". :D
I just ask because we've never gotten a cabana as I was told years ago that they were in a rocky area where you couldn't really swim.
The new cabanas are on the beach ...

Angie: Great photos. If you reserve one of the new cabanas, does that include the lunch buffet at the other cabana area? Dawn
Yes, it does:D
-
Thanks for this.
Do you know if they come with the same perks as the other cabanas: upgraded lunch, champagne, water, fruit plate, snorkel gear, floating mats?
Yes to all but the champagne. There is also a new "bus stop" :D where the golf cart comes and picks you up to take you to the "cabana area" for the lunch. The new cabanas have only been available for one week.

CASINO: Yes, we made our donation. The AC is still not working very well in the casino but we did like the fact that there was NO smoking in the casino at all. That alone made for a more enjoyable experience.
We too made a donation but the NO SMOKING made it so much better to be there :0))
PERSONAL BEEF: Note to all – do NOT take your water bottle up to the beverage dispensers in the buffet and fill them up! The signs say that it is a health hazard and the warnings do include YOU! Bad enough that people were doing it with refillable bottles (which they say you should also not do), but when I saw one guy put his Evian bottle up to the water dispenser and fill it, I thought I was going to lose it. Now his mouth germs have contaminated the water dispenser spigot! For the three or four people who are reading this and wondering how else to do it, take a glass, fill it up and then pour it into your bottle! Easy! For the rest of you who know better, sorry you had to read my rant. Whew, I’m done!
This is one of my biggest PET PEEVES ... WHY do people think this does NOT apply them ???
All in all, if you didn’t know the ship was 26 years old you would not be able to tell. For a short cruise, this ship is one you should book, if only for the small ship experience.I couldn't agree more :0))) Loved the Empress and ready to go again !!!

Booked for MARCH 2018 on Brilliance ... waiting for the rest of 2018 to open :D

I had read that in the Brilliance, they held a breakfast for suites, pinnacle, and diamond + in chops... Is this true?

We went to Chops for breakfast as D+ members on the March 17 sailing.

Correct, it was the Costal Classic and we did the Adventure class. Due to late booking the Goldstar class was sold out.
We were able to leave to luggage to be delived when we broke from tour. However, this was due to one member of our party staying behind and doing the bus.
Otherwise we would have had to transfer the bags on our own.
Added:
Meaning get our luggage to the train depot. At the depot they have an area setup to drop luggage off for direct delivery to the ship.
THANK YOU so much

Day 7, Anchorage/Seward:
Deviated from the tour and took the train to Seward, got in around 11 or 12. Was able to check in right away. From walking to the building to ship, about 10 minutes.
Lunch in Windjammer and dropped off our carryon bags. Went to the Alaska SeaLife Center.
I know this is an old thread :) Would you tell me please if you took the Coastal Classic train ?? and were you able to leave your luggage with the tour and have it delivered to the ship or did you have to take all your luggage with you on the train?
THANKS,
Angie
