  1. Let's just say he tolerated it for the small amount of time he was asked to go. For him, he thought that the games were too young and too long. As much as he didn't have fun there, he felt as though he wasn't ready for teen club since we are talking high schoolers. From my older boy's perspective, they agreed. We spoke to many other 11 year olds that felt the same way. On a positive note, he has a blast doing the regular ship activities.

     

     

    Thank you. I have a feeling my 10 soon to be 11 year old will feel the same way.

  2. If the weather is nice it might be worth it to take the Piccadilly line to the West End.

     

    But I'm like you. I would budget 1.5 hrs to get there and 1.5 hrs to get back. So probably 3 hours in town. But a great place to get your 5 miles in.

     

    I find the tube reliable (as long as there is not a strike) and for back up you have the Heathrow Express or a taxi/uber.
