Sorry, your cruise isn’t up to your liking, however for us that have been pretty much shut in for over a year, I’m anxious to cruise with an open mind and accept whatever changes there are.  I’ve  never felt hungry on a cruise and am always amazed at those that complain about the food.

Have a fun day in Dominica! This is my favorite port in the Caribbean (mainly because of the wonderful people we have met here and the memories they help create).

Does the mask mandate apply to passengers on ship excursions?

A lot of airlines have cancelled flights, so flights, positive tests or not being vaccinated at all and scared of the hurricanes lurking out at sea could cut some of the passenger numbers. Would be interesting to know, but we never will.

Thank you - you have helped tremendously and I will take your advice.

 There are 2 of us both first timers to NY. Would like a room under or around $600.00 for the 3 nights total if possible. We are flying to NY. Ship sails out of Manhattan Cruise terminal and yes those are the places we would like to see.

Ok will wait and then when book will keep checking rates.  Do you recommend any particular hotel? We definitely want to be able to walk to as many attractions as possible.

Is it too early to book a hotel for NYC for September 2022? Every hotel I look at says no rooms available. 🤷‍♀️ Want to book 3 nights.

We are going November 7, so need a room on November 6, around 125 to 170 a night would be great if you have suggestions.  Thanks,

On last visit our driver said there are discussions about ending “round trip - pay in return” as some unscrupulous people took a private taxi to the beach, agreeing to pay for a round trip on return leg.  Then take a cheap shared minibus back to the ship earlier than collect time agreed with the driver.  Cheap day out?

 

That’s sad people would resort to such behavior. Thank you for the info.

If the taxi driver takes and picks you up from port to Mero beach and back - Is the taxi rate round trip or each way?  

Sailing out of NYC for the first time ever next year and want to go early and see the sights without breaking the bank.  Any suggestions?

Boardwalk with restaurants and bars is down by the airport entrance.  20-35 or so minutes walk, 10 minutes cab ride, tops.

Debating between Pigeon Island and Vigie beach for a port day in November.  
I have taken Cosol’s tour twice (once when he was just starting his business and only owned his own van and lastly a month before he was killed) so just want to chill on a beach this time and reminisce. If we were to walk to Vigie what are the specific directions?
