I've always made reservations on the ship, usually the same day. Service and food has always been top notch in my experience.

MY DW had a scooter on our last cruise on the Imagination. Surprisingly, she was able to take it on the tender to Catalina. That was pretty cool as she was able to enjoy the island. She can walk, but not for distances without pain.

Bringing The Splendor back to LB shocks me because she did not have a good run sailing out of the West Coast.

 

In addition to the above she hit the Radiance of the Seas and then on a different sailing slammed into the rocks at Puerto Vallarta.

When was the Splendor out in the west coast?

Dang. Was hoping for a Conquest or Dream class to come to LB. I sailed the Splendor last time she was in LB. Maybe a quick drydock for Guy's and Blue Iguana?

Never understood why Carnival associated themselves with such a racist and misogynist.

They should be already out there. I'm booked on the December 2, 2017 Journeys cruise to Hawaii.

I've found the steaks in the steakhouse to be not as good as Mastro's (that's a really high bar), about equal to Ruth's Chris, and better than Morton's (overated).

In layman's terms, on land, a surge is sent to ground. On ship, there is no where for the surge to go except back where it came, which can cause major problems. That is why they are not allowed.

I go at least once every time. I will now only get the ribeye. I got the filet one time, and it was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked, however I forgot that it doesn't have the flavor of ribeye. Next time i'll ask if they can put extra wasabi in the potatoes.

That's alright. I'll just drown my sorrows in Guy's burgers.
