Any word on when Glory will get the HUB app?
-
They also sell plastic luggage tag sleeves designed for cruise ship luggage tags on Amazon for about $2.00.
-
This weekend I'm watching simulcasts of the Fare Thee Well shows in Chicago, and birthday dinner with DW.
Next weekend I've got nothing going on.
Weekend after that I'm going to Vegas
Following weekend I'm going to see Phish
I'm starting to have to block out time just to get stuff ready for the cruise.

My 1st cruise was on the Holiday out of San Pedro with my new future ex-wife on our honeymoon.

Thirty Days!!!!!

This has not actually been verified, aside from an experiment some time ago on 2 ships. With the "introduction" of a children's menu, they have moved to further cheapen this dining venue. -
On land, a surge gets sent to ground. There is nowhere to send the surge on the ship, except back the way it came, which can cause all kinds of problems. That's why they say no surge protection.

Hi Everyone, I am looking at a quick 4 day cruise in August for my 50th Birthday and I have lots of questions and I want to hear answers from real people rather then what the website tells me.
1) How much is the Alcohol package and does it include a Pino Grigio? If so, does anyone know which brand?
I don't drink, so I couldn't tell you. Others will have better info.
2) Do they have a reserved lounge chair area where you can pay to reserve deck chairs in an adult area?
No
3) Do they have specialty restaurants on the Inspiration and if so, which ones are your favorites if any.
Not really. No steakhouse, and no 2.0 upgrades yet.
4) Do they have blow dryers, shampoo and soap in ocean view rooms?
Yes
5) My husband smokes an occasional cigar. Can you smoke in your cabin or do you go to designated areas?
Designated areas on deck, or cigar bar (I don't know if there is a cigar bar on Inspiration)
I am a long time Princess cruiser and I'm looking forward to a fun, casual cruise filled with a lot of dancing with my Husband!

I'm more inclined to view weight limits literally in regards to excursions in 3rd world countries.

I forgot to change the batteries in my sarcasm detector.Pssssttttt.... it was a joke. -
Wow. Really?Oh yeah, Condé Nast recently rated Carnival number one among ex-cons, gang members, drunks, cheaters, liars and anyone prone to brawling. You'll never find a more wretched boat of scum and villany. -
Or Uber.
We're staying at the Eden Roc the night before. No idea if they have park and cruise, as we're flying in from CA.
-
Should just say priority, since it supersedes FTTF.
-
It's certainly not as good as Mastros, but it's better than Mortons (overated).
-
Where do you get USDA prime steak on land for $35.00? (I'm there).
-
It's not. It's $35.00 pp including tip.Worth every penny of the $35, but I'm not so sure it's $15 additional gratuity per person... -
Just make sure it doesn't have surge protection.
-
The same meal at a prime steakhouse on land will often run $100.00pp. The $35.00 is including tip (though in my experience, the service was so good we tipped extra).
-
That. Is. All.

The scavenger hunts are around the ship, and are not supervised. They must have sign out privileges to participate. They will have activities in the club for those who do not. They do not serve soda at the club provided meals. If they wish to have soda instead of juice/water/milk etc., they can go purchase one if they have sign out privileges.
Camp Carnival 9-11 Years Sign In/Out Policy: 9-11 YEAR OLD'S are free to sign themselves in/out of Camp Carnival as they choose at any time and for any reason if given the opportunity by their guardians. Camp Carnival is not responsible for children 9-11 year old's once they have signed themselves out of a Camp Carnival Activity. Please give your 9-11 year old child a stateroom key or arrange to meet them at a specific time and place. 9-11 year old's who are not permitted to sign themselves in/out will not be able to participate in the unsupervised Scavenger Hunts that are listed in the Camp Carnival Activity Schedule but will stay behind with the Youth Staff and offered an alternative activity. Parents that do not want their 9-11 year old's to sign themselves in & out of our activities will be REQUIRED to sign their child in & out when attending Camp Carnival with their Sail & Sign card. If the Parent/Legal Guardian chooses to change this policy and allow the child to sign in/out by themselves they must contact the Youth Staff and fill out the required paperwork. Children are not permitted to sign themselves in/out after 10:00 pm. After 10:00 pm 9-11 year old's must be picked up by their guardians/authorized persons from night time services. Fees apply after 10:00 pm.
Do I need to bring my soda card to activities?
Younger children (2-5 and 6-8 year olds) will not require their soda card at Camp Carnival. Water is regularly offered to the children throughout the day. They will not have an opportunity to leave the room to acquire a soda. Children 9-11 years may bring their cards to activities. However, they will be asked to sign out to acquire a soda during activities, as they will not be in the presence of the counselor at that time. Teens (12-14 and 15-17 year olds) may bring their soda cards to activities however will need to finish their beverage before returning to activities.

They probably had to find another cabin willing to switch.
-
We plan to let our 9 year old have sign out privileges, but only so he can participate in the scavenger hunts. We will tell him only that part. He wont have a soda card, or any spending money to speak of, so he will have no need to leave to get a soda.
