We sailed on her in February and I agree with everything in the above review. We did go to the shows every night and were thoroughly entertained.

I was able to get into the new site but had to change my user name and password. Once in, no information was available. Said I had no crusing history but have cruised RCCL 46 times. I tried the backdoor but said this page was no longer available. So I sucked it up and called RCCL and held FOREVER. Finally, the representative told me to give it a week before checking back to see my information. So typical of RCCL website.

We stay on Deck 14 ( forward) all the time on the Oasis, Allure, and Harmony. No noise at all from Adventure Ocean.

We sail out of Miami so I would take suggestions for hotels in Miami too.

Just found out our four-room reservation for February 1st, 2018 at the Hampton Inn was not put into their system. Any suggestions of nice, affordable hotels would be appreciated, although I do realize this is peak season.

Been on Allure so countless times and always have an amazing time on her... for me the best ship on the fleet with the friendliest crew ever...
Reading your post, you sound like a trouble sailing... The solution to your problem is way easy... GO BACK TO NCL...
Caribbean Sailor...
Strange how each person has their differences. Allure is my absolute favorite ship. Have been on 44 Royal Caribbean cruises. Did cruise Norwegian to Hawaii. Terrible experience and it was a brand new ship. I wouldn't go back on Norwegian unless it was practically free.

Since when? We got reserved seats on Jewel last month.

Not on the Oasis class any longer and you must make show reservations (that gas changed). Used to be diamond plus didn't have to make show reservations but they do now. And, only reserved seating for star class (suites).

Diamond+ has access to the reserved seats at shows that suites and Pinnacles have access to.
Not any more.

Diamond Plus perks beyond Diamond:
$25 more balcony discount
Access to Concierge Lounge
Behind the scenes tours
Personalized amenity
On the Oasis class, diamond plus does not have access to the concierge's lounge only the diamond lounge.

Thanks for your input everyone. Can you actually hear the noise from the pool?
I've cruised with a group of 20 or more friends every February on either the Oasis, Allure, and/or Harmony since 2010. Have also taken several family trips on these ships too. Most itineraries have three days at sea and we like to spend our sea days in the solarium. We (friends) always book deck 14 starboard/forward so we can walk one flight of stairs to the solarium. The ship usually docks on the starboard side too. When we cruise with family, the childrens' program is on deck 14 forward also. Makes it very convenient for drop off and pick up. Noise has never been a factor from the pool and definitely not the childrens' area as it is tucked away in between port and starboard sides. Everyone has a different reason for their preferences.

I sort of feel sorry for people who get hung up on this. Your on a beautiful ship-that cost a pretty penny-you spent day after day counting down-you were so excited when you got on the ship-and then you let this bother you. Also, I feel sorry that you make assumptions about people being chair hogs-I for one get up at five every morning even on my days off from work-so I am the one there in the morning first thing drinking my coffee and reading a book. You know there are not enough chairs for the amount of people on the ship- if it's so important to you-get up and go lay in a chair and finish sleeping. In life it is often first come first serve. People need to stop whining when we are so lucky to have the things that we have. I'm sure this is not a popular comment-however, let's be real. Attitude of gratitude will get you through-instead of worrying about everyone else-focus on the good and just have a great time with your loved ones.

BEST ANSWER YET!!!!!
I am not a sunbather so I don't rush for a seat "in the sun" ... but I am an early riser and I like people watching. So I get up early, and get my comfy seat in the shade. it always amazes me that people then turn up 3 hours later walking back and forward in surprise that there are no chairs poolside! But this is the same everywhere. You want a good seat, plan ahead.I think it's fine to get your chair, and then go to the restroom or a quick trip to the buffet for takeout... but apart from that I would love to see staff given the authority to take things off chairs when they know the people are taking the mick

We don't drink soda but was wondering if the machines had flavored water or stuff like lemonade....etc. If so we may do it. Thanks
There usually is flavored water in the Park Cafe and Solarium Bistro.

The nine-day Navigator of the Seas cruise to the ABC islands seems to be a popular cruise due to the ports and being 9 days. Prices are going to be higher. We booked 6 outside balcony rooms in February of this year for next February 2018. Last week, another couple wanted to join our group and were told no outside balcony rooms were available for the February 2018 cruise. They are on a wait list. If you are planning a cruise on Navigator for December of this year, I'd book ASAP. Prices may be higher because there are fewer cabins available.

Sailaway does not take too long out of Fort Lauderdale but it is fun to be on port side and wave to the people on shore. You may be a bit late to dinner (15 minutes or so). I wouldn't let sailaway keep you from doing traditional dining.

Ive never seen Pinnacle's printed perks but they are kind of a let down. Not much different than Diamond Plus (aside from a Gold Card and Suite Loung access)
I was expecting to see "Coupon Code 666 - Do whatever you want with no consequences"
If pinnacle is not much different from diamond plus THAN it is not much different from diamond. VERY LITTLE difference between diamond and diamond plus. BUT I'll take what I can get as diamond plus.

Looking to book in August, and my options are Deck 6,10 or above. since the ship is so big, does it make a difference between the lower decks, or the higher ones? is it just a preference? or is the view different. btw - looking at ocean view balcony.
Thanks.
I know someone said to avoid deck 14 because it is below the pool deck but we just returned from the HOS - a party of 20 - and we all had rooms (10) on 14 forward - starboard side. We all loved this area as it was 1 or 2 flight(s) of stairs to the solarium and Bistro. Everyone wants this same area next year on the Allure. It is very convenient on sea days and grabbing breakfast on port days. We never heard anything from above.

Do you get any Perks or Goodies on the 2nd leg?
You may get lunch in one of the specialty restaurants but that's it.

If flying Southwest and you disembark in Miami and fly out of Fort Lauderdale, your flight time must be after 2:00. But, if flying out on Southwest and disembarking out of Fort Lauderdale, flight has to be after 11:30. Have done it MANY times - no problem - love it.
