  1. Following. And to piggyback a question...what sites can you access on these computers? I have a 5:05am flight on SW the day after we debark. In order to get a decent boarding spot, I'll need to check in while on board. Can I access the SW site from these terminals?

When The Vista docks in Palma de mallorca, get off and head to the Porto Pi shopping centre (just over the bridge from the terminal only a 5 min walk ) and go into macdonalds or burger king and use their WiFi, buy a coffee and do your stuff there. i know because we live in palma :)

  2. The game consoles were never really busy, our boys could play on them anytime really. Lounge was only busy at breakfast, more or less the same menu as in the lido , toaster was a bit slow, only 2 slices a time, put some in before sorting your coffee, we loved the FH could just pop in for a drink anytime we were passing to our cabin 2420. It does say drinks until 10pm but by 9:45 most tea and coffee put away. The fridge is not locked, the door is just stiff.....took me 2 days to find this out.....lol

Have a great time, we did :)

  3. Just been looking at the steakhouse menu, waiting for my reservation to be confirmed. I saw it has a "beverages" and "dessert wine section", but only at the end of the "after dinner drinks" section does it say bar prices apply, does that mean that the tea/coffee and dessert wines are included in cost or are an addition to the cost ??

  4. Hi all, does anybody know if and how much a couples spa pass for a week is ?, can you book this pre cruise or do you have to go to the spa centre and get it when onboard, We are cruising end of august and seeing all the facilities onboard i don't reckon we will be seeing much of our two boys, so i think its time me and DW had a treat.

  5. Why can't Carnival do a beer lovers package, just to include beers. not all of us are liquor drinkers. Would much rather sit around the pool with a cool beer, especially as Vista is having the first micro brewery at sea. I would more than willing pay A La Carte if i wanted cocktail or short. As the DW doesn't drink alcohol any booze package would be out of the window for her.

  6. Booked Family harbour for end of Aug , there had been 5 cabins availible for ages, and as soon as we booked ours there is only one left now. We must have started the rush....lol Can't wait to see a new ship, this is the furthest out we have booked ever, as work commitments meant could only book 3 months in advance, bring it on only 277 days to go :)

  7. When we were on the epic in august with the UBP , when you order an alcoholic drink they ring up the receipt with the total on it as normal, but next to the total is an 'X' i asked the barman and he says they have to ring it through to balance stock lists, but the total was never added to our bill, i used Iconcierge to keep a look at our spending, and not one drink was added. Usually for soft drinks you just showed your card and never signed for anything. If you have UDP they will ring all the food meals through but then zero everything off bfore the total.

  8. We have just got back from our epic cruise, myself, wife and 2 boys11,8. We purchased the spa pass in advance though myncl. IMO thge spa pass was well worth it, whilst the boys were at kids club we had 2 hr everyday to relax in there. We didn't go in on the sea day as we knew it was going to be busy , but on the first port day, there was only us in there. by the end of the week the most we saw in there was about 10 people, so still lots of room and facilities for everyone. The spa is open 10 am til 10 pm everyday. anything els you want to know about the cruise just ask me. Have a great time, we did. The boat did not feel overcrowded to us except at peak lunch hours. Now we have done a mega ship we have been spoilt, i dont think we could go back to smaller ones now.

  9. Just got back off the Epic, we tendered at Cannes, France. you can book your tender tickets in advance from the various touch screens around the ship, or via your room TV, I din't mange to do it by them so went to guest services and they did it for me. Just turn up at the disembarkation point just before your alloted time and away you go.

  10. Thanks , these are a great help in deciding what time to go for our meals, trying not to miss out on family fun. Anyone know what day/time kids club slime time is on ?? Would love to see the back of the dailies if you get chance to scan them. 5 days and counting till cruise

  11. From a European perspective I agree completely. If it wasn't for NCL our family could not afford to cruise at this level. We only book 'special offers, eat in complementary restaurants, which I think are splendid. We plan our own cheaper excursions, which we have great fun planning at home before we travel. Cruising is our preferred holiday and if it wasn't for NCL we would never have been able to afford our last or next cruise. As our children got older and therefore more expensive there is a lot less disposable income for holidays. When planning our next cruise I spend a lot of time checking out prices and have found that RCCL is hardly ever an option for us (in Europe) with much higher prices than NCL. We want to sail on "American " ships for ease of lauguage etc. Thanks to NCL we can still have our preferred vacation. There are many families like us. We meet them on board.

Hi Dexysgirl, have you tried Thomson cruises from Palma de Majorca great entertainment, good deals on cruises. I'm biased as we live in Mallorca.
