We went back to Indulge on Barcelona day for dinner. As we have 6 meals in speciality restaurants this leave 4 for the complementary places and I think we will go to Indulge for all of them. We really like it there. The first couple of times I had a curry, but this time we just ordered a few dishes to share. Very nice.

 

Plenty of room in Indulge once again. I’ve not seen it more than half full all cruise.

 

Yesterday was Food Republic, which was our second visit there and again it was excellent. More dishes to share and the food was excellent.

 

I have heard that they used to let you share a dining credit to get four items to share at Food Republic, but we haven’t asked if we could do this. Six items between us is about right.

 

We didn’t do much in Marseilles yesterday. Pre cruise we close Ibiza and Marseilles as our relaxing days. We did actually get off the ship to stretch our legs, and walked for a mile before turning back and were still in the port. There was a shuttle bus to the city centre, which I think was complementary,

 

Other than that we spent a lot of the day in the local and my wife is feeling the after effects this morning. We are a little later than planned getting the tender this morning. We were considering getting the train into Nice but it actually looks like there is quite a bit in Villefranche, so we may just stay there.

 

We have a long day in Florence tomorrow so aren’t looking to do too much today.

When we were in Villefranche, we did a quick trip to the medieval village Eze, which is a quick trip by taxi or Uber. Spend an hour or 2, see the gardens at the top, etc. Then still plenty of time to walk around Villefranche before returning to the ship.

I highly recommend seeing Rumors. Wait until the second night later in the cruise. Showtimes at 7pm and 9:30pm. Get in line for the 7pm show just before 6pm. They let us in around 6:20-6:25 and we waited in our seats having drinks before the show.

Just don't order an Old Fashioned at the bar, minimally basic with a bright red Marachino cherry.

Gross.

Just off the Prima and we had to call to have the hot tub filled and then drained.

Just off the Prima. Here's a tip. Lunch in Indulge food hall is from 12-2 every day but you can go in at 11:40 or so, grab a table, and order at 11:50. Food starts coming out right away. Have a great cruise!

I was just on the Prima going to NY. We went 20 knots all day until the middle of the night and then slowed to a crawl for the rest of the trip into NYC Harbor. I don't think that was for whales.

I've always known that Haven butlers and concierges are not included in the DSC. But I'm confused about the references to beverage servers. Do they mean bartenders and bar backs? I always give them something extra but thought they were covered by drink package gratuities.

If I'm in Haven and do self walk off, would I make a 12 noon flight out of Newark?

Upgrading the beverage package for $29/pp/day includes Starbucks and water.

Look in the drawer the hair dryer is in , in the bathroom. Outlet is in the drawer. At least in H6. Wife only found it halfway through and had been drying hair at the coffee station.

Have an upcoming cruise out of Miami on Prima and am fortunate to be in Haven. I'm wondering how the Haven check-in is, particularly baggage drop off.

I know the Miami porters are aggressive about grabbing bags. Since I don't have a color printer, I'd like to have NCL put on my luggage tags. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Likely a result of the wind. If sailing into the wind, smoke from the stack is blown aft by real wind and apparent wind from ship speed. If sailing with the wind, smoke from the stack is blown forward by real wind and canceled out by apparent wind from ship forward motion to allow particles to fall on the decks.

On upcoming cruise, my wife and I have FAS. My wife would like to upgrade to the unlimited internet but I don't need that. On the NCL site it only allows for us to both upgrade. Is there a way to just upgrade her? Thanks

• Good to know on the Blanton's. Trying to decide on the FAS+ upgrade.

More importantly, when we were in specialty venues and wanted 1 glass of nice wine each, they brought a whole bottle and left it nearby for refills. With any wine on the ship. Sometimes took a little while for the bottle to arrive though.

Curious to know, but what do you actually do in the thermal spa, day after day. (Not being snarky, just curious)

Yes. On Viva they had a small station set up just behind the stairs adjacent to wall separating Haven from Vibe.

Sorry to hear of your mishap but things seem to be going well for you.

I would keep and use the cane whether you think you need it or not. The advantage is that you are broadcasting a message to all around you that you have a problem. Hopefully you won't be bumped or jostled in crowds and people will make space for you.
