We're Sapphire Blue Chip and got the same email, then had a phone call from the Concierge. We explained we were Blue chip and not in a suite, he then apologised and said there'd been a mistake but he'd be quite happy to help if we had any queries.

poffles, fstuff1, thanks for your reply.
We do usually call Miami and have a couple of cruises booked for 2022 and 1 in October 2021
I was just curious as a few years ago when we did get offers by email and you would very often see the same ol faces in the casino. We've made several Blue Chip cruises buddies who we still meet up with and cruise with occasionally.

I have receive 2 emails this week for free cruises on different ships, and 1 email last week. Would explain why they are so busy.
Hi. We would be interested to know if there are any UK cruises offered on your emails. We are Sapphire Blue Chip, based in the UK, and never ever receive any offers by mail.

How does the Casino work, do they have a USD ATM on the ship or do you use your pass to gamble with, which could be a bit dangerous haha.
I may exchange a few Dollars before I get on board incase the exchange rate they use is bad
Ir's best to take dollars with you, if you charge it to your sea pass card they will charge you an additional 5%.

I posted earlier but just wondering if anyone has managed get their PCR cost refund yet? We sailed 17th July and nothing yet. I did get a call from USA Celebrity a week ago asking for my debit card details but nothing. Not happy 😞
We were on that sailing too (17th July) and are still waiting for the refund. We had our PCR test at Boots as there was no Eurofins test centre near us at the time.

It was closed last week and this week. 1600 on board this week but they need upwards of 2000.
2400 next week including 800 under 18's
I like the windjammer at night but closes a 3pm
Thanks for that info Bigeck ,as we were taking my Dear Mum who's 90 and not very good at social distancing we have decided to cancelled for the 23rd sailing and rebook after the schools have gone back. Nothing against kids as I love them all but feel 800 unvaccinated kids would be taking an extra risk for a 90 year old who loves cruising.

Has anyone already sailed or currently sailing used Boots for their PCR Tests please? They advise results are available within 48 hours - just wondered whether this timescale was met? There are no reviews on Google that I can find so am presuming this suggests that no-one has had a problem receiving theirs.......yet.
We were on the 17th July sailing and as we couldn't find a Eurofins test centre anywhere near us we booked with Boots. We had the test on Wednesday 14th at 1pm and the results were emailed to us at 6pm the next day, Thursday 15th. We are in Oxfordshire and friends in Wales also had the Boots test and received their results the day after the test. Excellent service from Boots and highly recommended, we will definitely use them again later this month for our next cruise.

Reel and video slot machine points: $1 coin in equals one tier point. Video poker and video roulette points: $2 coin in equals one tier point. Table games: $1 table theoretical equals eight tier points.

I checked with the casino manager on Silhouette and the information on the flyer is correct. He had also questioned it for confirmation.
Happy days (*_*)

The posting regarding earning tier points now says 8 points for $1 wagered on table play. Is this new? Is this a mistake?
I would think it's a mistake but I'm sailing on Silhouette this Saturday 17th July so I'll find out and report back.

Not sure if I attached this the right way, received an email that states that Sapphire, Sapphire Plus and Ruby still have VIP Lounge Access. Received the email on 6/23/21
It might be different until the covid restrictions change
Looking at the flier, great news for table players as it now states.
Earn eight tier points for every; $1 theoretical on table games
It used to be,
Earn one tier point for every $8 theoretical on table games

Does Celebrity Equinox have poker in the casino?
Celebrity Silhouette and Eclipse previously had the Poker pro tables but have recently changed to live dealers for Texas Hold-em. I've not been on Equinox recently but there's a Youtube video of the Equinox showing the same casino layout with the Texas hold-em table.

On the Blue chip club section on the Celebrity website it no longer lists a standard drinks package for Amethyst Members. Can anyone confirm this or are drinks still free in the Casino.
New list

Hi Betty.
We received this email today, out of the blue, about the Tuesday Xciting deals with a phone number you could try to see if us here in the UK would be eligible for any of these offers. There were lots of cruises on offer but I've just copied the first bit as an example.. If you have a throwaway email I could forward the email to you

Hi hope you enjoy your cruise. If you get time could you post whether there is a kettle in the stateroom and what type of power outlets there are. Thanks in anticipation. Hope LCG tonight is great.
Hi.
There is one European 220-volt outlet and two American 120 volt outlets. On Celebrity sailings from the UK all staterooms have a kettle.

Anthem, Captain announcement at 4.30am
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
On a recent cruise on Anthem of the Seas the Captain made a public service announcement over the tannoy at 4.30am. It was to say that unfortunately a passenger had, due to illness, been airlifted off the ship. Whilst I have every sympathy for the passenger and their family, I don't think we should have been woken with a message over the tannoy at 4.30am. Several people from our group found it difficult to settle afterwards although a couple of people had heard the helicopter.
Having cruised a lot over the years this was a first for me and am curious to know if it happens often.
