  1. We have a chance to upgrade to Yacht club but are concerned about the dress being formal all the time or is the same as the rest of the ship? We don't mind dressing up on formal nights, but not every night and want to relax during the day. Any recent YC cruisers, any info please.....

We will be the the YC on 6/11 and do not plan on formal dressing...my DH will wear a collared shirt with dockers and I some sort of summer dress/skirt...nothing fancy! Take your upgrade and enjoy!

  2. We will also be sailing in the YC in a few weeks. We are flying into Miami so we are limited with our luggage. Interested in the dress code for men in the evening in Le Muse. My husband plans to dress business casual for all evenings...no jacket or tie.

  3. We will be in the YC in June and this all sounds amazing. We always wanted to try MSC. Has anyone requested a lounger for their balcony? We have made this request many time on NCL and our requests were honored. We do enjoy our time on the balcony...thanks

  4. If you received the 5% discount upon booking,,,then yes it will be linked,,,however,,,be sure to bring your paperwork with your MSC status match information to show during embarkation just so you are given priority boarding.

We booked and paid in full prior to receiving our black status match. So are you saying we are probably not linked to our reservation? We will definitely bring copies of our paperwork to confirm status. Thanks

  5. I'm certainly OK with MSC (Sarah) finding the post and fixing the error, since that would be smart business practices. I travel agent tattle-telling would be another karma matter entirely :).

I'm also very grateful that MSC has agreed to honor their published price :). I knew they would do the right thing. Most businesses will honor pricing mistakes online as long as they aren't ridiculously low. Crazy as it sounds, Delta airline once accepted a 29.00 airfare that should have been 299.00. I didn't jump on that deal fast enough, but my sister did and the 29.00 airfare was honored.

Now I get to start planning a yacht club experience!!! I'm Liking MSC more and more everyday :).

Good morning BermudaBound...happy to hear that MSC is honoring their published rate. Did you receive confirmation from your TA/MSC about this? We also booked this rate and have our air res. We booked knowing that MSC has had some amazing fares and wanted to try a new line. Don't want to show up and have problems...want to enjoy our first cruise with MSC!

  6. This is exactly what I got. Thanks. Hard to keep track with all the deals.

A different question, The two of us that have the UDP are also platinum will they give us the vouchers for the free meal at Le Bistro? Does NCL give one voucher per stateroom (I thought I read that somewhere ) or is it still one per person? At least I will be able to use this to pay for the other two one night

We are in the same situation (a good one!) as you and were also wondering how the platinum Le Bistro perk works with the UDP. Has anyone been able to give the voucher to another passenger? Lastly, searching for the link that shows suites do not have to pay gratuities for UDP/UBP for the current promotion. Thanks

  7. We have a Barefoot Beach (BB) cabana reserved for the first time during our August 2015 Oasis sailing. We're staying in a GS and began reaching out to current concierge in Dec/Jan to see about reserving one. I know that as he was confirming our reservation, he asked to whose SeaPass/reservation ID the fee would be charged. He also asked how many people would be using the cabana, as well as the names and cabin numbers of each guest who would need access. My understanding from the concierge and reading other CC posts, is any non-suite guests then are added to an access list to enable entrance into BB.

    Thank you

  8. Our friends will be booking a Barefoot beach cabana...they are in an owners suite. There are four additional people who are non-suite. Will there be a problem with the non-suite passengers joining them in these cabanas?
