Looking into using one of the ride services to get from the port to airport. What are thoughts on Welcome Pickups or George's taxi? I see that there are some tour options with these services. Don't necessarily need to spend alot of time at Acropolis. Want to see it but don't necessarily want to walk it all.. If we just book transfer without 'tour' will we still see some of the city? Our flight times are flexible - going to Santorini and there are several options. thanks

We will be disembarking in Athens/Pireus on Sunday October 20. I have a few questions. Are attractions/sites opened on Sundays? Do any close on Sundays? Looking into doing a tour in Athens prior to a flight to Santorini. Nothing extensive but to see some sites and areas. I looked into George's taxi and Welcome pickups. Does anyone have any opinions regarding either? I was able to email Georges taxi for information but I cannot get an email to contact Welcome pickups without booking. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a short tour (2-4 hrs)? Thanks

We are doing the 7 day Adriatic and Greek Treasures cruise in October on Encore. How does disembarkation work We are going to Santorini for 3 days after the cruise , and I was looking at a 4 hour tour with Georges taxi when we disembark. We will probably only have carry on and will take off our own bags. The itinerary says arrival is 7 AM. Can we get off at any time or is there a schedule? Wanting to see what time to have George's pick us up and then what time to book our flight to Santorini Any suggestions and thoughts appreciated.. Thanks

We are doing the 7 day Adriatic & Greek Treasures cruise in October. The port in Croatia is Vodice (Sibernik). What is this port like? Tend to hear of Dubrvovnik or Split as the stop.

We are doing an Adriatic & Greek Treasures cruise Oct 13 -20, 2024. We do not stop in Santorini on the cruise but want to spend 2 or 3 days there after the cruise. Does anyone have recommendations on where to stay in Oia? Preferably no more than $500 a night -- hopefully with a good view. Not far from the main area. Also - will it be hard to get a private tour when there are alot of ships in port? Any recommendations? Any restaurant recommendations? Thank you for any information you can offer...
