Hello, I’m relatively new to sailing on Celebrity and will be on the Apex in April 2024. How does dining work? I see four main dining rooms. Do you choose your restaurants prior to boarding for each night and make a reservation or ??? We have a Concierge class stateroom and are currently Elite status. TIA for any insight and details!

Yes, we are both diamond plus on Royal so we have Elite set up on Celebrity.

Thank you to everyone for sharing your suggestions and feedback. Sounds like we will be very comfortable on this cruise!

We are sailing on our first Celebrity cruise in February aboard the Reflection for 7 nights. We have sailed many Royal ships and are very familiar with the various theme nights and dress code suggestions. If anyone could help us understand what the dress code guidelines and options are for Celebrity we would appreciate it! TIA!

We booked our Anthem cruise later than usual. I was able to book show reservations but North Star And I Fly are not available, and it says to book onboard. Might North Star (what I’m interested in) become available online once again or have I lost the window of opportunity? Where would I go to book once onboard? I have been on Anthem so do have some familiarity.
There were 5 of us who sailed the Anthem. One had reserved a time on the North Star before the cruise. Once onboard we all decided to do it and we got a reservation without a problem. She had to change her day/time so we could all ride together, but it wasn't a problem once onboard. I didn't make the arrangements so I can't tell you where to go once onboard.

Great picture of you guys! Really enjoying your comments and pictures along the way. You gave me some great ideas when we visit Seattle too. If you can share any info on the Solarium Bistro that would be appreciated, i.e., is it complimentary or like Fish and Ship's - half complimentary and half fee, is it open for all meals, does look busy(is it any good)!! TIA and hoping Marie is feeling better today.

Oh! We are several cabins aft of yours on Deck 7 too, 7280. I was hoping the view wouldn't be too obstructed so maybe there is hope.

Was wondering if anyone sailed the Enchantment recently and knows if it has the freestyle machines for soda or if you have to go to the bars to use the refreshment package. TIA!

LGA hotels limit the choices for food. If that is important consider Taxi, Uber, etc. for a short ride to nearby Jackson Heights for multiple possibilities.
Thank you!

Agree on the NYC taxi (although they are required to take you to EWR) but Uber/Lyft operate just as normal between states. In this case Uber is slightly less expensive than Carmel (based on fare estimates from both companies) when you factor in tolls and I would argue that the Uber will be easier to get to quickly with all the construction around LGA right now. Instead of waiting for the one car thats designated for you like Carmel they will send the car thats closest.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

I appreciate that info! Thanks!

Has anyone stayed at a LGA airport hotel the night before their cruise and sailed from Cape Liberty? Airfare to LGA was so much better than EWR for me. I'm looking for recommendations for transportation from the hotel to the pier. This is for a Celebrity cruise in October. TIA!

Thank you that was very timely and much appreciated. Hope you had a good time! We will be sailing in Nov.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. We are gonna give the Enchantment a try. Only a 5 night cruise.

I was looking to sail the Enchantment for a short getaway. Royal says the Oceanview staterooms are 126 sf. Really? The Interior staterooms are 136 sf. Has anyone sailed Enchantment in an Oceanview? I thought they were at least 151 sf. TIA

Most sidewalks are made of something called fliser.
When I translate it, it becomes tiles instead, does that sound right?
Anyway, fliser is some of stones carved into square pieces some 50x50 centimeters or something like that.
So its very flat and very easy to walk on.
You can walk into cobblestones in driveways etc but not that many places.
Great! Thank you for that detail.

My best guess would be København H (Central station) but I wouldn't rule out Nørreport either.
Hello Danish Viking, I received confirmation that the tour will end at Central station. According to Google Maps our hotel is an 9-11 minute walk and the distance is .8 km/.5 mi from the train station. I'm wondering how easy it will be to pull our luggage. Specifically, if the sidewalks are smooth or are they cobblestone? I don't want to pull my luggage across cobblestone sidewalks.

Where does this bus trip start or end?
It starts at the Port of Copenhagen on the morning of the 12th when the ship arrives, is 3.5 hours, and ends I guess, at the train station. The name of the excursion is City of Copenhagen(Train Transfer).
