  1. I seen those an I am actually watching a couple of them on my ebay right now. Why are you saying these are fakes? I dont know the difference so if these are indeed fakes I am sure glad someone is shedding some light on this.

  2. yeah some of these people on ebay are a little to greedy. I seen some people selling a past guest pin for 19.00 "buy it now" recently. And another selling a past guest glass for 59.00! I mean really!!? lol.

If i had extra past guest pins I would give them away here for free long before I would TRY to sell them on ebay.

  3. im with you...I dont care for the extra food they give us in our cabins. One of the plates I didnt even touch...it smelled real "fishy" almost made me want to puke. the other plate was chocolates...same stuff they had up in the chocolate buffet upstairs earlier the same day, which I also didnt care for.

  4. Hello Fellow Pin Collectors.

After all the years I have been putting :):):) on faces for no charge,

I have finally had some one take advantage of me. :( While trying

to make a trade to get a pin for another collector on this board,

I sent some one 4 pins to trade for this pin plus other pins. The

person did not comply with the trade and did not send me my pins.

Being the person I am, I will not mention their name. I am only warning

you to be careful with who you deal with if you make a trade.

I will not let this stop me from helping others out, since I LOVE to put

a :) on a face. I will just be more careful.

I would post up his user name is I was you...that way people know not to deal with the scumbag! We are suppose to help eachother out and enjoy collecting together. It sucks when someone comes in and screws it up and leaves a bad taste in someones mouth.

  5. If anyone is able to help out I am still looking for these pins. I unfortunately dont have any to trade at the moment but dont mind paying a fair price for them or covering shipping. I am trying to obtain 2 from each ship we have been on...one for me and one for my wife. We are putting them on our cruise lanyards. I would also really LOVE to have at least one of the PLATINUM pins from the Magic as well if anyone has one to spare...again I dont mind paying a fair price for pins. elitephotophx@aol.com is my personal email.

  6. so it looks like Carnival has decided to allow people to book the Cabanas for HMC online now. When we went to HMC last year we couldnt book the cabanas online, only once on board the ship. BUMMER that they changed this policy. I figured we had to wait to board to book then I see it today on the carnival site for HMC excursions...and of coarse it says SOLD OUT!!! Oh that bums me out! I had planned to book one for my wife and I since this is our wedding vow renewal cruise and I wanted the wife to get a cabana. Ugggghhhhh

  7. cruiseoholic...the red hook ferry is half the price (6 bucks pp) of the ferry from C.A. but there is a 30-40 min cab ride involved to get to red hook which isnt cheap if I recall correctly from the last time we took the cab to red hook.

I think we will take the C.A. ferry at 10am as our wedding coordinator has suggested us to do. She says as long as we get on that ferry we will be fine. She says we wont be late and if we are it will only be a few mins and she will wait for us. She mentioned its less then a 5 min cab ride to get to the C.A. ferry dock too so thats MUCH cheaper then the cab to Red Hook. I am prone to sea sickness too and I know the Pillsbury sound's waters are rough! Been there done that! Lost my hat and my lunch on a journey across the sound last time we were there. Granted we were on a 36' sail boat under wind power.

  8. I have tried to weed through the 100s of posts and didnt find any mention of it.

Has anyone taken the Ferry from Charlotte Amalie to St John? My wife and I are renewing our wedding vows there Aug 3rd (coming in on Carnival Valor). Our ship docks at 9am and I was told by our wedding coordinator that we should get on the 10am ferry in Charlotte Amalie as opposed to taking a long cab ride to Red Hook. Any comments on taking this ferry instead of the ferry out of red hook? We have to be at Cinnamon Beach at 11am for our wedding ceremony is at 1130am.

  9. My .02 cents....do both. Jacks is more relaxing and more of a real island feel. Margaritaville is a big packed party. Its night and day between the 2 places. take the 15 min walk down to jacks shack and spend an hour or 2 there, relax and have a drink.

  10. I think its more of a novelty then a practicality. Its neat and a lot of people ask me where I got it when they see it displayed. we wont open it...its all for show, just like my bottle of patron platinum and crystal bottle of Louis XIII :D

  11. My wife won one as a raffle prize on the Valor. Its 3 liters if I recall correctly and the price tag was $60.00 for it if you were to purchase. Very good deal for such a HUGE bottle of crown. Only down side is getting it home. We had to wrap it really good in our checked baggage for the flight home....and arrange weight properly so we didnt go over the 50lb limit on the airline. That bottle weighs a lot!!!

  12. non swimmer? You live under a rock all your life?

Anyway I think helmet dive would be better since you wont do any swimming...just walking on the bottom. I think snuba is a little more fun but you cant swim so that wont work out to well.

  13. we did a tour with Victor Bodden and enjoyed it. Everyone drives crazy out there so just dont look LOL. But other then that we had a great time. The driver asked us what we liked to do and from that suggested ideas. We had a full fun day and were back to the ship with about 45 mins to spare. Great time. We are using VB again in October when we go back to Roatan. There was 4 of us and our ages ranged from 21-30
