Thanks for the info!

The transfer service suggested Webster as a hotel location. Thanks for the info.

Anyone stay in Webster Texas before a Galveston departure?

I know with Princess, there is an additional OBC for Veterans. I pretty sure I know this answer - does Carnival have an OBC for Veterans?

Heading to Seattle for round trip To Alaska in May 2022. I’ve been searching for a company that does transportation from Seattle airport to downtown The State Hotel. Then next day, hotel to cruise pier. There will be 4 of us. I know there’s always Uber. Any other ideas?

I am not a smoker but was curious as to the dedicated smoking areas around the outside. I know that in the past we would be taking a stroll outside and we would walk right through the smoking area. We’ve booked, for the first time an aft balcony. I’m hoping we can enjoy our balcony without smelling smoke.

Thank you!

We’re booking an aft cabin on the Carnival Miracle but I want to check where the smoking areas are so we don’t have to deal with second hand smoke. Anyone know what areas are smoking?

We have (had) a B2B on the Radiance for April. Wonder how the obc will work for that? Can I apply the fcc towards another already booked cruise?
-
I’m trying to stay positive. I hope we know for sure before final
payment is due in January.

I’m not seeing any info anywhere on the Victory/Radiance transformation. I have a feeling it’s delay has been further delayed. On the website the first cruise is listed for November. We are booked April 23. I have a feeling that trip has been cancelled but no word from Carnival yet.
Any ideas? -
I don’t think they will cancel this perk. Hope not anyway, y’all deserve it.

14 weeks for us. 98 days, but we booked thru Costco. Finally got it.

We were on a later flight originally. We did so much research into our flights making sure we had plenty of time in between. It’s American Airlines booked through British Air. And we just found out we will have to re-check our luggage ourselves. Well just have to take only small carryons but that’s going to take some figuring out because we’re goring to be gone 2 full weeks. Thanks for the suggestion though.

We are traveling from Barcelona to Phoenix at the end of our cruise. Home from Barcelona has a layover in Philadelphia for only 2 hours. Originally it was 4 hour layover, the airline changed it to a different flight.
Is that going to allow enough time to go through customs and get back on the flight from Philadelphia to Phoenix? -
Their web site is prob on overload. I think today is the day with the $50 deposit.

Last cruise we left a $5 each night but folded origami. The a larger time at the end of the cruise. Our room steward love it! We had the best service ever.

We were on the Caribbean Princess early May and the food was outstanding. They shouldn’t have any problems with what is offered.

We are going on our first cruise to the Caribbeans. We will be going to Princess Cays (Bahamas), St Thomas, St Kitts, St Lucia, Antigua, and St Maarten. We are in our 60s - enjoy sightseeing, cultural stuff, walking. Couple of questions, appreciate your feedback.
1) any good ideas for excursions that we can do ourselves (trying to avoid higher cost of ship excursions)
2) Caribbeans mean beaches and swimming. Do you bring a backpack with clothes to change into at the beach?
3) are towels, chairs, ... available at the beaches? What are your suggested beaches - trying for quieter beaches.
4) if you go snorkeling, where can we we safely keep our cellphones, wallets, ....
Thank you much. Feedback for us newbies would be great.
We are going to these same ports on the Caribbean Princess May 1. I am interested in finding out the answers to your questions too. I also wonder how warm the water will be for snorkeling.

We went to Alaska last May from San Francisco and the seas were calm going but coming back it was a little rough. Lots of folks got sick. I was glad I had taken my Bonnine that day!

Has anyone used the hop on hop off bus tours in Valencia, Cadiz, Cartagena, Spain ports. Seem like it would be a good way to go around the city. If you have, is it convienent to the piers?

Yes it does have the special happy hour. Don't forget the 3-4:00 happy hour in the wheelhouse.
Transportation services in New Orleans.

We used a fantastic transfer service specifically for cruise folks called Cruzin Transportation in Galveston. They picked us up at the airport, took us to our hotel, picked us up the next morning from our hotel and took us to the port. One price for all. Then they were there when we disembarked and took us to the airport. Now we are going out of New Orleans in January. Is there any service/company that does this like our Galveston company did?
