Thanks all for the info provided. Like someone mentioned, we don't drink any beverages (soda / alcohol) so we never get beverage package. Also we like cabin as far as possible from elevator not for noise issues (if any) but it forces us to walk (good exercise). We also take stairs up and down no matter how many floors for the same reasons... Love to see my fitbit give out good readings at the end of the day.. Thanks again folks.. 

Our Norwegian cruise docks at 7 am at the port and I see a connecting flight from CPH to the US at 11.50 am. Would I be cutting it too close? should I get a later flight?

So we are on a NCL cruise docking Nymashamn in June 2020. We have been to Stockholm before and stayed 4 nights about 3 years back... Its not that we don't like Gamla Stan and other city attractions but we would like to do or see places where we have not been in Stockholm area. Any idea what we should be doing?  Walking to station, train for 1 hour one way to city all seems to be too tedious and time consuming..

Sorry, I am a bit confused on which port does Escape dock. This is for the June 7, 2020 cruise (11 day Scandinavia, Baltics, Russia) .

Booked a Balcony in Escape for the 9 day summer 2020 cruise (Scandinavia, Russia, Baltics)... BX was the cheapest but wondering if anyone has any experience on what balcony gets assigned to you. Agent said there are no balconies on Escape which have obstruction....but wanted to make sure 🙂

From past years does anyone knows if NCL has special labor day sales? Like $0 deposit offers?

How do you get from Hotel Bethel to the port? I assume the port is called Freeport of Copenhagen ...we would be on Norwegian cruise.

Update: My TA made a payment and I immediately got the "congratulations" email from Amex. So even though the T&C's of the offer do not specifically mention payment by a TA, it will be honored as long as the charge comes from Carnival and not the TA agency.

Thanks folks. we are going next week Apr 2 - 9 . I think I would take the yellow taxi (outside the gate, walk left towards main road to get one , per instructions I got ) to HOTEL ROSITA. Then walk the Malecon for about 2 hours and then take a yellow cab back. Let me know if thats correct.

Also whats the negotiated yellow cab fare to Old Town (El Centro?) ?

I have been to PV many years back with my wife and daughter and we did some tour (tequila, Predator) and all that. This time I will have my parents in their 80s and my 12 yr old daughter with me. They are not interested in any of these tours but would love to have a feel of PV just outside the terminal. Is there any place we can just walk to, take some rest , do some people watching, grab some snacks, get a few knick-knacks like magnets and then walk back to ship?

Thanks folks. I went ahead and booked NCL for June 2018 7 day Alaska just because they had $50 deposit...and the itinerary take you thru Glacier NP .. I will keep checking Celebrity for lower deposits and then decide early next year which one to pick.

Sorry again I am new to Celebrity...do they ever have offers for very low deposits for booking? Like NCL now has $50 deposit for each person..

One of big reasons I am leaning towards NCL is they only need a $50 deposit per guest now. Celebrity is asking $250 per guest...does Celebrity come out with offers for lesser deposit amounts?

RCL doesn't even have JUNE 2018 Alaska itinerary listed yet. NCL and Celebrity have almost the same pricing but looks like Celebrity is geared more towards adults / seniors than kids.

I have a 13 year old girl and we have never been on Celebrity or Norwegian..we are thinking of taking the Alaska cruise (northbound from Vancouver) next year...any comments?

I usually got thru *************.com and book through an agent ( based in U.S) so I guess I can always cancel before Mar 8, 2018 when the remaining amount is due.

I was looking at the June 6 2018 Med itinerary and liked it. I was wondering if prices now are cheaper than sometime this year or early next. Sorry never been on a European cruise before...Though I posted this on NCL, my question remains the same for any other cruises.

Thanks folks....no ..we don't plan to get off the beach ...just sit in boat , check the ARC and come back...

My dad and mom would be with me and I just want to take them on a 1 hour or so ride to EL ARCO rock. Dad is 80 and mom is in mid 70s. I really don't want anything very active so deciding to just a ferry to EL ARCO rock. The cruise company and some of the online ferry is charging over $50 per person.

I read somewhere the water taxi should be around $10 per head and it would take us to the arch rock on a 1 hour ride...where can I get that info? can I book water taxi online?
