  1. I’m on the Summit repo cruise. I’m sure there will be more to say once we get to San Juan, but I’ll start with this.

Celebrity is giving all of us free airport transfers, and has refunded pre-paid transfers so that all have no cost.

Would love to know if there appears to be cabs available to and from the airport. We are on the Summit on November 18th. We arrive early and I would like to not wait for the Celebrity buses as they tell me they will not start until 6pm.

  2. I am looking to retire and we want to take a B2B2B2B2B2B that will start with an Ultimate Caribbean and finish with a Ireland and Iceland cruise. 64 total days cruising and two different ships. Is there someone that you can talk to at Celebrity about pricing and discounts?

Also, my guess is a travel agent should really make you a deal on this. That is a lot of commission.

  3. All good advice. Unfortunately, they didn't give me a Blue Chip card as they signed me up on the last day.

I did give them the information on my cruise and they are going to "contact the ship", but I don't have a lot of faith in that. I'm afraid I may be stuck.

  4. I was pleased on my first Celebrity Cruise that the casino host invited me to join the Blue Chip Club. Blue Chip club has some nice benefits if you like to gamble (which I do). I was even able to make a reservation under the Blue Chip Club. Today, I tried to book another cruise and they can't find my record.

They are going to call the ship I was on to see if they have record of me, but based on my experiences of ship to home office communications, I doubt that will help. Very disappointing. Any one have any thoughts on what I can do?

  5. Does anyone see Celebrity (or RCL) ever doing a world cruise concept? We love RCL and my wife and I are going to start cruising on Celebrity soon. We are a few (5 to 10) years from retirement and would like to do a world cruise right of the bat in retirement. We are Diamond on RCL and are just really familiar and like with what you get from this company.

  6. We are looking at a 2014 cruise for our 25th 2anniversary and it looks like the Legend is coming back to Florida. I know it is an older smaller Vision ship. I'm been on a couple of Vision class ships and it seems to me that how they look is somewhat dependent of the latest dry dock. Does anyone know if Legend will have a dry dock before returning to Florida and if so what they will be doing to her?

Any other information of Legend is appreciated. I tried to search past posts and couldn't find much.
