I use a small Baggallini (5x5 inches) with pockets for rings, earrings, and necklaces and carry in my purse. Once onboard, I ask for a saucer to put all in the safe so it is easy to see what's there.

I also buy from Jjill. Some really cute clothes there also. Chico's and Soft Surroundings plus Jill do it for me. Nice, classy cruise wear and easy to pack.

What a wonderful video! We have been on Voyager several times and are missing being on this great ship due to staying home with our ailing pet. It took a lot of your time to do this and is was greatly appreciated.

We shopped with Chef Martin in Tallin. We were a group of about 12 and went to a wonderful outdoor market and then a cheese shop. The chef decides which port and we read in the Herald about it two days before. It was a great experience. First come first served as they take a fairly small van. We enjoyed the fruit and cheese for at least a week after - fun to see what we had chosen on the menu.

Not sure what is causing your vertigo but I have had three ear surgeries and have cruised many times without any problems including 10-12 waves in the North Sea. I do have pretty severe vertigo at home (go figure). My DH, on the other hand, has no ear problems but needs Bonine occasionally. It works really well for him without feeling sleepy. I hope you have a great cruse.

We have also opted out due to uninspiring itinerary. Were hoping for a med itinerary.

I needed to see to Doctor on Regent (not heart related) and found him to be kind and efficient. You might want to consider MedJet Assist for evacuation if you are concerned about that part of it. Try not to worry, they will take care of you.

We did almost this identical trip from Stockholm to Copenhagen in July 2013. Do not miss the train in Flam. Beautiful. Ship docked (Sojourn) very close the train station and we just walked over and bought our tickets - did not book ship's tour.
In Tromso, we did take the ship's tour to visit the sled dogs. Interesting. If I remember, most of your other ports, we just walked around the very lovely little towns. This was one of our very favorite cruises ever - enjoy your cruise!

We have been in 614 twice (about 40 days) and love deck 6. The forward hot tub is really nice and we viewed our Panama Canal transit from there. It is a hidden gem. No noise at all.

TravelCat2,
I want to thank you for posting on this cruise and I wish you a very quick recovery for your knee surgery. We were on Voyager right after you I believe from Sydney to Singapore last Feb. and my DH had total hip replacement three days later on Monday and was back to work the following Monday part time. Orthopedic procedures are getting better all of the time. Best wishes!

Thank you so much for posting and yes, we have had to go to the hall for getting our internet but depends on the part of the world we are in, Again, thanks!

clarky,
Thank you for posting. We were supposed to be on this cruise, but life got in the way. We miss the Sojourn and hope to be onboard again soon. All info is appreciated and you have a great Captain and CD. Have sailed with both.

Not had great luck with Butler getting any additional or special reservations. Better to go Dining Room Manager. Congrats on your anniversary!

We have had this happened several times. Just use a Sharpie or marker to change the cabin number. The bags will get to you with no problem.

The crew is ready for passengers at about 12:00 noon and welcome you. We have been on B2B on Seabourn and they arrange a tour in the a.m. and then back onboard at about noon. Enjoy!

Travelcat2 is correct on her information. We have had a butler on about half of our cruises but have never really used a concierge. No real need. I always overpack (I love choices and lots of shoes) Long black skirt, black slacks with nice tops.
I also take two pashminas (one black, one red) for evenings as it can be very cool. DH likes to wear long sleeved shirts with a jacket for evenings, he will wear a tie with black suit for formal nights.
Just bring what makes you comfortable. If you forget something, I am sure Regent staff will help you find it. Enjoy!

Hi to TC and poss,
Good to know about the dreaded mosquito, I did not know about this one. Since we cannot cruise for long trips right now, we have planned a land trip to Costs Rica in Jan. DH attracts every mosquito within a mile radius - even using DEET
Poss, I am trying very hard to keep Hizzoner off all ballots right now!! Not an easy task.

Hi again Poss,
We have had our share of issues this year - hip replacement, hand surgery and cancer for our beloved pet. But we are still trying to figure out how to cruise. We would love to see you. Please take care and hope to see you soon.
-
Hello, Poss
I too am lurking right now. Best to you.

We have not been on the Quest, but believe the big ships are pretty much the same. We have had the same cabin for Panama Canal and 21 day Stockholm to Copenhagen which is midship on deck 6. Nice area with hot tub on the front of the ship.

We have just booked Seabourn for Antarctica 2016.
-
Getting a passport is so easy. There is no reason to risk not having one.

Welcome to Seabourn,
You should be able to board at about 12 p.m. and have lunch and await the announcement that your suite is available at about 1:30-2:00. That is our past experience. Then we begin to unpack and go the the muster drill. Please enjoy your cruise.

Sorry folks, we sail on both and had a similar experience on the Sojourn.

Poss, Hi to you!
We have been on cruises that were hosted by our TA and another that was hosted by a larger agency. We enjoyed both as we were able to go on some special tours (bridge tour) and cocktail party. You do not have to participate but you will receive an invitation for RSVP. Just like hosted tables which we normally decline.
