  1. Recently sailed on the Pacific Princess and Coral Princess. Food in the MDR on

Coral Princess was not good but better on the Pacific Princess. still question

Some of the "safe" items on the menu.

The buffet area on the Pacific Princess was bad. Air conditioning did not work,

The food looked like it was just thrown out and people were reaching over

Each other to select food. We've been on about 35 cruises, I spent 20+ years

In the Foodservice business, it was really bad.

We're out on two Celebrity cruises in the next 9 months, hopefully they 'll be

As good as the two Celebrity cruises we took this past year.

We prefer X but if they don't go where we want to go, we'd sail Princess

    Again.

    Hope this helps.

  2. We always travel in Aqua Class because we love Blu. That said, we always take

advantage of the 25-50% off on the first day of the cruise(discount depends

On the length of the cruise) and go to Murano. The Dover sole, veal chop,

And lobster Murano are fantastic. We've tried the other specialty restaurants in the past but Blu is so good, we only do Murano when it's on sale.

  3. We got off exactly 40 days ago. It seems that we traveled in two different universes.

The food was great, all of our breakfasts and dinners were in Blu and because of an

Extremely restrictive diet they did everything that I asked and more.

As far as training, the staff was as good or if not better than any staff on our prior

    30 + cruises.

A leopard doesn't change it's spots overnight- a crew of 1200 doen't change overnight either.

  4. We've been spoiled by Aqua class on three Solstice class cruises. Booked

For two additional aqua class cabins on converted ships, Constellation and

Infinity, hope they live up to the Solstice class ships.

Smart casual in Blu is great. We're traveling to French Polynesia on the Pacific Princess in March- they are so antiquated that they have 3 formal nights and don't have a Blu. While they have some itineraries that are interesting, and

Great laundramats, the last Princess cruise we were on had horrible menu's

and badly prepared food. After spending 35 years in the foodservice industry,

my comments to the corporate head of foodservice at Princess was for him to resign.

    Enjoy Aqua class and Blu.
