  1. I would like to do luggage valet. We are flying Southwest, and have a 12:30 flight. We are allowed 2 bags a piece, but will only have 2 bags total. If we tell them that both bags are mine, and he just has a carry on, will we be just charged $20, and the big thing is, will they check us both in, or just the person with the bags? If anyone has done this, will you please let me know?

  2. We have the UDP, I know Margaritaville is now a la carte. What will we be charged if we go for lunch? I have seen posts where people have the UDP and they say it was free for them. Not a big deal, I was just wondering. If we want to go, and need to pay, no big deal, but I was just wondering what other people's experiences have been.

  3. Yes. We did a taxi tour in Antigua. You will be bombarded when you get off the ship. $25 per person, hit all the highlights, brought you to Valley Church Beach which was wonderful, waited for you, and returned you to the pier when you were ready. We had Joseph, he was awesome!

  4. Just booked this for April! My husband always wanted a trike, and this looks like a good way to see the island. Do you know if there is a beach nearby, where we can go to after the tour to cool off, and can we just take a cab back to the pier after?

  5. We sail both lines. Sailed the Star from NOLA. Older ship, but in nice shape. We love freestyle and had our 1st aft balcony on the Star. Love all the restaurant choices and food is subjective, but we find NCL food to be good to very good! Very friendly crew. Try it and see what you think.

  6. We have been on both the Oasis and NCL Epic. Very similar type ships. We have sailed several lines also, including RCCL, NCL, Princess and Carnival. Did not like Carnival, but I like the rest. NCL is our favorite. We are NCL type people as you can see from our signature, but RCCL is second. The entertainment is better on NCL. I don't care for the broadway type shows on RCCL, but I do like their longer itineraries. Food is always subjective, however I do feel NCL food is better as well as a large variety of restaurants. We really love freestyle. We love not being tied to one dining time. NCL does this the best. Give NCL a try, I do not think you will be disappointed, after all, you will be on vacation!

  7. Wow! We booked the 11 day for April 18 before the BOGO started. We got the cheapest balcony on Deck 7 for $2800. Glad I booked when I did, and I got $200 OBC from Royal, and $250 from my TA. We would never be able to afford it for that they are charging now.

  8. Well, it is a matter of funds right now. I have 2 other cruises booked and as I see it, it is better to give them as little money as possible. I always pay with income tax funds, so it is not a problem paying on the other end.

  9. Booked a d7 guarantee on 01/19/15 for our 05/09/15 cruise on the Oasis. I was assigned a d3 cabin just a few days ago. I was very happy with the cabin we received. Deck 10 aft just down the hall from the aft elavators. I love it as it will very quiet with not much traffic going by our room as we are 8 cabins from the very aft of the ship. Good luck.
