Booked March 18th - 3 people in a Grand Suite for $2400. Not an awful deal.

I always uber, quick and easy. Usually $40-$45.

Ricky Mathews is leaving Mariner May 31st, any idea who's taking his place?
-
I expect you to match him on all fronts — do not let me down! [emoji23]

I don't think I'll be going at his level this time. Now come March B2B GC, that's another story... The bother of us together is going to be scary!
-
Nope, but that's changing very very soon!

Loving the review Rick, you are getting me so pumped!
1st place in Quest
1st place in Lazor
Now get out of that escape room!!

I made the kool kids list!?!? Outstanding live blog review Mr. Jarvis! I feel like I was in that grand suite more than my own cabin!

You're not naming names,are you??:o:o:o
Seriously, it was such a great cruise. One that I will never forget!!
I sure hope not, or we are in trouble!!

Enchantment handoff is tomorrow April 6th. Michelle is on her last sailing of her contract. (she posted this on social media)

Social media purposes! So does Millie follow Our Two Suitcases and CLR? Or is this a “just foolin’”?
If you look hard enough, you will see Millie in one of their videos...

What am I missing here? 40% off still sounds like a pretty good perk...

Anyone else seen the draft beer card? I've spotted it twice, but far less common. $49+18% for 10 draft beers (pub or pool deck only).

I remember when I was 18 years old, my parents could sign a waiver so that I could drink beer or wine on Royal. I remember sitting in the bars thinking I was so cool, little did I know... This program ended around 12 years ago.

I work full-time, 32 years old, last two years I've taken 9 per year. Usually 1-2 are week long sailings and others are 3/4 nighters over the weekends. This year I'm scheduled to take 7.

I did notice the price jumped from $30 to $40 now. Still a good deal at $40 if you use Chops/Wonderland.

Fantastic review!!! Thanks for taking us along with you. Maybe I should try Freedom again...

Tampa Hotels
These are my top recommendations for hotels in downtown Tampa. All of
these are less than 1 mile from the cruise port. You can uber to port
$6, download the app “downtowner” for a free ride, or walk and it
should take you 10-15 mins. Or ask kindly, and I’ll come get you!
1. Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina – Likely the most expensive
option, but they are right on the riverwalk. If you can get a good
deal on this hotel, don’t pass it up.
2. Embassy Suites by Hilton – This hotel is directly in front of
the Marriott, so again great location, but it’s not on the riverwalk.
First world problems you might have to walk ½ a block! Ha.
3. The Westin Tampa Harbour Island – Usually the best rates, only
a 3 min walk to the riverwalk, just over the bridge. I’ve seen rates
here less than $100/night. This hotel has a really nice restaurant
that connected to it, Jackson’s steakhouse.
There are more options, but I’d try to stick with one of these 3 for
the best locations. They are all around the popular Sail Pavilion
Bar that’s on the riverwalk.
Hope this helps some! Let me know if you have more questions I live downtown right beside the port of Tampa.

Was that just RC or RC and Celebrity? I know that they are both part of RCCL. But Sam should be able to contact them.
This was both, they operate under the same headquarters. Royal Caribbean won’t provide info to everyone calling in because they have no way to verify who they are. That’s why they contacted the emergency contact number on file.

Is there a hotline # for family members to call? I have a friend whose sister was supposed to be on a ruins excursion in Costa Maya from RCCL today and am looking for a # for her to call.
All family members were notified by Royal Caribbean today that were impacted. So if you didn't hear anything, all is well! I know this can be stressful, but know Royal Caribbean would have contacted you right away if they were involved in anyway.

All of our luggage arrived. Picked up the rental car and headed to Versailles for dinner
Then checked into the JW
Up at 5:30am, Freedom already alongside. Looks like people will be making their early flights today

Dinner looked good tonight Chris, are all the restaurants a la carte on NCL?

Beautiful pictures!!! That island looks really nice! If only they would let you use those drink packages there...

Having sailed on Empress of the Seas a few times now, I thought I would share some of my room tour videos. I know many people are asking what Empress cabin's look like, so I hope this helps if you have an upcoming sailing on her. :D

Cost aside: Is service easier/different if you have the drink package?

I prepaid my tips with my drink package online, that way I don’t have to tip $18/day.
