I couldn't find a place to add the discount code of OHJOHN where did you do that?
When you go to check out...scroll down and there will be a rectangle box to put in a promo code. Put in OHJOHN in all caps. The discount is 5% not 15%

This is our first time in a spa room on the Carnival Splendor. I see online where it says the shampoo etc is "upgraded" than that in the regular staterooms.
The shampoo and body wash in the regular stateroom severely dries out my hair and skin.
Does anyone know what brand of products are in the spa staterooms? Thank you!

I know if you book the steakhouse on the first night you get a free bottle of house wine or 50% off other wines. What if you don't drink wine? Can you get a bottle of sparkling cider? If so, do you let them know in advance or once you get there.

How do you use the OHJOHN code to get a discount on a excursions for a Carnival Cruise ......
After selecting your excursions, go to check out, scroll down and there is a small box where it says enter promo code. Put OHJOHN in all caps, hit apply and it will recalculate your total with the 5% discount.

Since we're not platinum yet and don't see the benefit of spending $69.95 for FTTF.....we carry on as little as possible. We know our rooms won't be ready so we head up to the lido deck for an amazing feast. Order a drink, sit back and relax...whew! We're finally on VACATION!!!!!!!!!! After lunch we head to our assigned dining room to see where our table is and if we're happy with everything. If not it's the best time to get things changed. We then wander the ship, check our room out, unpack anything that may have arrived. By then it's time for muster drill, then back up to lido deck for a wonderful sailaway party!!

A little more information: I went to my booking (for Magic, June 17) and clicked on spa services. On the last page (8? I believe) was the option to purchase the 7 day pass. Done!
I was afraid that it would sell out, if I waited to book onboard.
Thank you! I looked but didn't go clear back to page 8. Seems they would put it on page 1

Can you purchase spa passes online or do you have to wait to purchase on the ship? Not treatments but passes to use the thess...... pool etc. Thank you!

They scanned our pictures, from our passports, when we checked in.
removed.
Mike
What do they do if you don't travel with a passport? Do they scan your drivers license? My DL pic looks nothing like me!!

did you book a Cloud 9 Spa cabin or are you going to pay for the Cloud 9 spa package
Spa cabin ... inside
-
Dh decided to book us an inside cabin deck 10 so we can use the Cloud 9 Spa. Is it worth the extra? What are the benefits? I see that spa services are available but still, like a massage, is sooooo costly. I'm afraid we'll be to busy to enjoy the spa benefits...pool, heated chaise etc.
What has been your experience? Was it worth it? HELP!!!

Available now!! $500 for $450 plus reward points! $100 for $90 plus rewards points!! Great way to save $$ and pay for your cruise!!

If you used a TA or PVP they can link your bookings. If booked directly with Carnival call with the names and booking numbers and have them link them together for dining.

I can see John's posts on facebook. I have liked and followed his page. However I can not post on his page or even leave a comment on his posts, I can only share. Any suggestions as to why? or how this can be fixed?

Has anyone had Steven Schwartz as a cruise director yet? He will be on the Valor when we cruise in February.
Us too! Saw on Fb he's friends with Mike Pack, who was amazing on our conquest cruise. Hoping for the same energy and fun!!

No Camo is allowed in Barbados. The other ports of call on your itinerary are fine. It will also be posted in the funtimes.

How do you get the aarp gift cards?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Please note...this is an AARP promotion NOT Carnival. Carnival does not have control of when these are available.
AARP is selling gift cards for Carnival Cruises for 10% off the retail price. They are usually in $100 or $500 denominations. You do not need to be an AARP member to get these, however you do need to set up a login and password.
To get a gift card. Go to AARP.org Click on the tab that says rewards for goods (goods = gift cards). Then click on earn rewards, and take quizzes to earn points 1000 points equal $1.00. After you have earned enough points (1000 for $100 gift card etc) click on the tab rewards for goods. Click on gift cards then travel. Find the card you want and redeem. Follow instructions.
