  1. This is our first time on the Magic and first time having Cheers so I think we will plan on getting drinks and explore the ship for a bit, unless something yummy for lunch looks a bit uncrowded.
  2. John Heald just said no FTTF for July cruises. Hard to say past that.
  3. Yep, we are flying into Tampa to go to Anna Maria Island and the car rental is going to cost more than the flight down there for the 2 of us. I'm trying to convince my husband we might be better off doing an Uber from the airport to AMI, then renting a golf cart for the week.
  4. Definitely go see Anakeesta! It's pretty tree top walkways, cute restaurant and shops. Sometimes they do live music and fire pits with smores kits. I think Dollywood is easily done in one day. Unless you think you want to ride rides a second time and see shows again, one day will suffice. It's touristy but the Titanic museum and the mobster museum is actually really cool. Also just lean in to the tacky and do the hatfields vs mccoy show and the dolly parton's stampede. The food is decent and it's a fun show. Don't have high expectations. Just go and laugh and enjoy.
  5. I enjoyed it a lot, don't get me wrong. We spent two nights at Key West, 2 nights at Islamorada, and one night at Key Largo. I felt like we did a ton. Rented a boat, did the museums, snorkeled. I just felt like since the beaches weren't very nice, we had to really spend the time finding things to do. Plus the heat was literally oppressive. I'm from TN; I'm normally pretty used to heat and humidity! July in Key West is a different bird for sure.
  6. We did Key West last July, and I will never go again lol. It was miserably hot and there aren't even very nice beaches, but I am spoiled by the white sandy beaches of Destin. We are headed to Anna Maria Island the first week in June and have a rebooked cruise for March 2022. The Magic out of Port Canaveral.
  7. We are doing that Magic itinerary in March, so clearly that is my pick 🙂
  8. Cruise for 3/15 cancelled on 3/13 because of the govt mandate, received 1/3 of refund.
  9. 72 days since our 3/15 cruise was cancelled. Received about 1/3 back, randomly. Still waiting on the bulk.
  10. Received another partial refund today. My cruise was cancelled per government orders on March 14th. Still waiting on the largest portion to be refunded - ~$2K. Received about $1300 back.
  11. Received ~25% of a refund today. I have no clue why they only refunded some of it; we didn't buy an extra packages, no excursions. But it's a start. Just wanted to update those who were curious. Our cruise was one of the first ones cancelled; when the announcement was made Friday, we were sailing Sunday. So it's been a little over a month.
  12. Ok, why do I not have the option to edit or delete?
