Yes! We almost always got a mixed drink and a shot every time we went up to a bar. Needless to say we had a lot of fun. :D

We did the excursion 2 years ago and it was the most poorly run mismanaged that I could ever imagine, there is a 1 hour travel time and we did not get off the ship until almost 2:00 then travel time to get to the park it was 3:30 and had to be back on the bus if I’m not mistaken 7:15 - 7:30, our cruise stops there next week and I asked my family if they wanted to go back and they all said no my “kids” aren’t little so no disappointment but if yours are young I would think about it

So do they let you know as the bids are filled if you didn’t get it or do they wait until 2 days before?

We've gone the past 2 years and have missed it both times LOL, We are going 3/11 and hoping 3rd time's a charm! Sorry you weren't able to make it

I used a travel agent and my bid came directly from NCL and it was on my cruise home page, I didn't even think to contact my TA

We are going on an excursion through the cruise to Atlantis, how do you rent one? Directly through Atlantis?

I was like this a few weeks ago, but now I’ve given up. Our sailing (March 10) has been completely sold out for a week.

Thank God I'm not the only one, I check my emails constantly, I know they can accept 2 days before but jeez let me know one way or the other the anticipation is killing me LOL

thanks JDRO for your response. If anyone has any suggestions on if they think the thermal spa pass for the week is worth it please let me know. I read that they only sell day passes on days we are in port- I was essentially going to use it for the days we are at sea and its too cold to be in the outside pools. Thanks!

Hi, we have stayed at the Spa Mini-Suites which are amazing! But in actuality, the amount of time you stay in the spa is very little and if (fingers crossed) the weather is warm (not a Canadian LOL) we will be by the pools, they are relaxing and definitely something to try but if we were in there for 2 hours on sea days it was a lot, not saying that you can't stay in longer but I get antsy!!

Hi, we took this cruise last year same time 3/11 as the one we are going on this year and we were outside the 1st full sea day in the morning with towels around us on the sundeck and the last full sea day I want to say it was our hottest day LOL We cruise this time every year out of NY because of school breaks and always have a good time!

I think Sold Out is the state they have to show when they get ready to start moving folks. At least that is my belief. They lock everything down, then the Program monitors the bids and as the bids get 'bumped up' it waits until that stops (no one is going to reduce their bid, after all) then moves everyone. That then frees up insides all the way to balconies. (which are highest demand for last minute) and then you will see them available to book again.

I waited to bid until they assigned us our guarantee. It was inside 12th floor which was great for an inside, but I had been hoping for something better than inside. So I got the assignment last Saturday and bid. I found out this Thursday, which is much faster than I was expecting to!

I have another question....did you notice if the cruise was showing sold out? That's what I am concerned about that I am bidding on nothing LOL!!

Today we were awarded a SPA BALCONY!

Congratulations! I love the thermal spa! We are on the same cruise, and bid yesterday for a Haven forward facing cabin, how long did it take for them to contact you? I have not received a rejection email (do they send that?) I'm thinking it is a long shot since if I have tried to do a mock reservation and it looks like it the cruise is sold out...

Years ago, we were taught by one very intelligent maitre' D, that a cruise ship is NOT a boat, but a ship. Boats are small sailing craft, while large ones are ships.

Hi we are on the same cruise and last year also for St. Patrick's and honestly I didn't realize until we started noticing people wearing green, wearing beads and headband but I don't remember anything on the boat, maybe a green drink? so we are coming prepared this year LOL

Hi does this exist? We've been there plenty just want a beach day no need for the waterpark, I feel like I've seen it in the past but I can not find it anywhere! If you can provide a link or name it would be very much appreciated

We got a room at Baha Mar next year for around $225 with fees. Probably just depends on time of year. If you want the best beach/pool, it'll be Baha Mar by a long shot. Especially their blue hole pool with the jumping rocks and cave with shark tank. I imagine your kids would go nuts there. Melia will be less spectacular but it's the same beach and still very nice pools - and cheaper. Blue Lagoon has no pools. The beaches should be calm at all 3 locations you asked about.
