My name is Tom Grant and I was cruise assistant with Cruise Director Cliff Nelson, onboard SS Veracruz 1. Our Captain was Jens Larsen 1985-86. I was on 2, 5, 7day cruises from Tampa to Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel. We had a few 7 day cruises that included Key West. There were many good times on that ship. I learned to work hard, I love ships! To thisa day, I have sailed on 85 cruise ships and sailed 165 cruises, as a passenger.
