The actual number of passengers any cabin can accommodate will depend on the individual cabin itself as some are limited to a maximum of one, two, three of four.

This was on the Cunard Help page!
What cabins and what ships have cabins which are "limited to a maximum of one"?
A glitch on their part?

I have been upgraded to a cabin for the disabled, even though I am able bodied. It never crossed my mind that others might "judge" me for being there.

Same here!

When and if an upgrade should happen, does Cunard's fairy prefer to notify by e-mail or Voyage Personalizer or both? Someone posted here recently that first-timers and/or passengers relatively new to Cunard may receive preference. Comments, please?

As I have mentioned in the past on this forum, we have been upgraded at embarkation.
We have also been Diamond since Cunard instituted that category, so not new to Cunard at that time.

What a fantastic review! Kudos to you!

I will vote for this as many times as is legal!

"How do I settle my on board account?
At the start of your voyage, you will be asked to register a credit card. The balance of your account at the end of your voyage will automatically be charged to this card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa/Mastercard Debit, American Express, and Diners Card. If you prefer to pay with cash, please speak to the purser after embarkation.
We cannot accept cheques, travellers cheques, Switch / Maestro cards, Corporate cards, Solo, Visa Electron or prepaid credit cards."

Although the FAQs do not specifically state it, they do accept Discover credit cards as that is my card of choice and what I have used every time on Cunard ships.

Is it possible to credit my ships account with my own dollars?
************************************
I was forced to do that on the QE's Maiden Voyage because I did not tell my credit card company I was going out of the country and it was refused by the purser's office.
I did register my credit card at embarkation and received mail in my cabin 2 days later.
Fortunately I had brought along some cash.

Wish those deals would show up in the US!

I think one of the best things about getting a passport is that it is good for 10 years!
Doctor's cabin visit for sea sickness??

I had the doctor come to our cabin on the QE2 many years ago. I think I had Norovirus (?) but it was before it became rampant so not sure. I was confined to our cabin for 2 days (doctor's orders) but my cabin mate daughter was free to roam the ship! Go figure!
