Thanks for all the responses AND the photos! We are on a 9 day Greece intensive itinerary in late September. There are about 25 of us so I will get the word out abut White Night. What do men normally wear for bottoms? White shorts?
-
Not new to cruising but certainly new to Azamara. I just stumbled on a video which talked about a white night party. Is that on every ship and every itinerary? Thanks

I haven't done this before. I had followed up multiple times within the weeks after I made the request, and was advised to wait until they contacted me.
I have 33 friends (and friends of friends) booked on this sailing, so it would be hard to just meet up somewhere.
In the meantime, I've set up something else (with the help of our pre-cruise hotel) for the 33 of us to meet each other.
It will be fine.

Thanks to you all! I see it now, and have let my peeps know of a standing card game. My old eyes are not trustworthy...
-
Unless I'm just overlooking it, I don't see anything like a "card room" on the Breakaway deck plans. Is there a place to meet to play cards or games on the ship?
Thanks.

Isn't that special. I have been on 35+ cruises and NCL was at the bottom of my list even before this frustration. Yes, even below Carnival.

Sailing departs in 11 days.

Subject: RE: Meet and Greet- Breakaway 11.12.2023-48451156Good afternoon Joy,
Thank you for contacting Special Events in regards to your MEET AND GREET request. Please be advised I have sent your request to the ship; keep in mind it can it can take up to 7 business days to receive a reply. I will forward any information to you as soon as I receive it. In the meantime, please advise should you need further assistance, thank you.
Regards,
Vanessa Trujillo | Special Events Coordinator

I have a group of 33 travelers aboard the Breakaway for a 16 day cruise later this month. I had planned to have a private Meet and Greet for our group to get better acquainted, and was advised to approach the Special Events desk.
I did so over the summer, and was advised that they would be back to me in about a week, after they'd coordinated with the ship. I've waited 3 months, and have heard nothing. I emailed again on Monday, and not even a response.
Has anyone else had similar issues with trying to work with Special Events for this purpose?

Just for the record, we do not routinely buy travel insurance for our "routine cruises". However, if $60K was at stake (no chance of THAT happening) it would be insured. The premium would be VERY high.

Why would the NCL agent talk them out of coming in a day or two early? That's the part that doesn't add up. Even if the NCL agent did try push to fly day of departure, why would they agree?
Would you book a $60K vacation without travel insurance? (purchased independently, not through the cruise line)

Do you know if the Haven spa offers the same massages as the rest of the ship has?
I read that the massage staff from the main spa come up to the Haven as necessary. I suspect the same menu is services would be available.

@Ballwin Babe The post #1 is the full explanation of the Haven in GREAT detail. That should be very helpful. I am not sure which template you would like to have. The Butler Letter, the Excel Calendar or the Journey Document. Respond to my using @Sthrngary and I will accommodate.
Anytime you want some information or have question, come back to this topic stream.
Cruise well and enjoy every moment.
@Sthrngary can I get the butler letter? Thanks so much. 🙂

Hello fellow NCL-ers! Leaving on Escape this Sunday and am so very excited! @Sthrngary I have my Butler letter ready to go, too (thank you for the template!). Will write a review with pics when we return. Thank you all so very much for the helpful advice! We love the Haven and are super excited to return!
Would it be possible for me to get a copy of the template? We are in a Haven suite in November for the first time, and we don't even know what the possibilities are! LOL thanks so much!

Bird, LOVED that thread! What a great documentary on food! I have a question:
We will be on the preceding TA cruise in a regular balcony cabin. Would it be out of line to request assistance from the Haven butler to help us relocate to our Haven cabin?

I was in a forward facing suite on the Encore. It was an amazing room. I’d book it every time if I could afford to. We didn’t spend a ton of time on the balcony because the Haven sun deck was so nice (and close to the bar), but the extra space in the room was amazing.
We just upgraded from an inside cabin to a Forward-facing Haven Suite! Talk about an upgrade! LOL

Thank you!

Thanks! I'd done multiple searches and this didn't pop up. 😊

This is the private spa area on the Deck 16 of the Breakaway. I am trying to find out what is there (if anything) for the Haven guests.

Helpful info, thanks. Other option is deck 10.

Contemplating upgrading to a Haven suite for our November cruise. Can anyone describe what is in the Haven Spa? I called NCL but she wasn't sure. I suspect she may have been reading me the description of the larger spa with general access. Thanks!

I've since learned that the Haven balcony is actually on the side of the ship. There is a window which is foward-facing. These cabins are larger than the side cabins. Has anyone stayed in one? What did you think?

Am considering an upgrade to a cabin which has a forward-facing balcony. However, I'm concerned that the location of the cabin cause it to be too windy to enjoy it. Any experience with this? Thanks much.
MANY cruises but first Azamara

How does one tell if an Amazing Evening is planned for our stay in Thessaloniki? Thanks again...
