My Wife is having surgery on Tuesday and they are telling her up to 12 weeks to recover. She has been trying to tough it out until after our cruise in late January but it has become just tooo painful, Well as (un)luck would have it the 12th week is exactly the same week as our cruise... I am just wondering if anyone out there has dealt with this type of surgery and what was your recovery time experience? Do you think she can go on this trip?
Had full thickness tear and bicep repaired in March.
Six weeks wearing a sling to prevent any movement, the worst part was physical
therapy.
Could not raise my arm above my chest for about three weeks into the therapy.
It is not fun even with the small incisions but I am back in the gym:D

Just wanted to know if you book the unlimited specialty dinner package on board, how do they tell that you have it?
Is it on your sea pass, voucher or just in the data base?

Ray & Mike
Bring a coat and scarf!
It will be chilly until we are half way across the Atlantic.
We wore sweat pants and sweat shirts while sitting on the balcony but it was fabulous:D
Everyone will be around the Martini bar around 7pm each night prior to dinner:cool:

Hello everyone
Has anyone done any research on the shore excursion options yet?
We thought about hiring a car and driving around Provence for the day from Toulon.
We also thought we would try to arrange independent transport to take us up the volcano in Teneriffe.
Would anyone else be interested in sharing transport arrangements for these trips?
And Jason --- don't worry about wishing the summer away. We are wishing the winter away! We can't wait for the cruise
