We upgraded to JS never again it was noisy below pool deck .The rooms are the same ,bathroom is bigger in JS

When we cruised with are kids at that age you don't see them after dinner .

We stayed in 9002 on Gem last year in Oct on Canada NE cruise weather was cold and all lights have to be out in room at night to open blinds . There also is a water tight door that the wife hated and make up area was dark . I loved it Iwent out on deck ever morning with coffee and watched as we pulled into port .

We did Chichen Itza on RCCL in Jan 30 mi boat ride to Playa del Carmen then walk to buses and 2 1/2 hour bus ride and only a 1 1/2 hours at ruins .

1 hour to Canaveral, 2 hours Tampa, 3 hours Port Everglades .

We were in 9002 last year on the Gem in Oct out of Quebec City to New York . Huge balcony , Bed was most comfortable on any cruise I've been on , the door to the balcony is watertight door and wife said the make up area was to dark . the room was great and the expresso machne is excellent .

We are flying into Montreal and taking VIA rail to Quebec City .

Do the ghost tour in Quebec City .

We do NCL they are cheaper and do one way  Quebec to New York .

Its called RCCL math they don't teach it in school .

Out of curiosity, why would you decline the dining package?  The gratuity on it is only like $20 bucks and you get 3 upgraded meals free.

Food is not that great and the limited reservations to us are not worth it .

We had six ship excursions with 50.00 credit, didn't spend all credit and received a ck in mail for unused credit.

Did you enjoy the hike? 

We loved it and would do it again, it is not that steep just a lot of rocky steps .

Hiking Saguenay National Park (4 Hrs, $85), but the hiking is only 1.5 miles ("...recommended for advanced hikers with a rise in height of 450 ft and 500 steps to climb.").

Wondering if they're over stating the advanced... Sounds very similar to hikes we've done in Phoenix, so believe it would be doable for us.

 

We did it on Gem last year 40 started the hike only 8 of us finished.

Has anyone done this walk?

Do they consider it strenuous because it's three hours (almost) of walking, or are there significant changes in altitude?

We did a ocean walk last year on NCL it wasn't bad, but have water proof shoes .

We like NCL for Canada and New England one way cruises  Quebec to New York  is great for us.

We are flying into Montreal and taking train to Quebec City .

We got upgrade from window to jr suite on Jade ended up hearing deck chairs dragging across deck at all hours .

Got a mini on jade last year , never again deck chair dragging starts early .
