  1. I have a question about this, if we pre-paid our tips when booking our cruise. Do they still charge your S&S card once on board, even if they credit the S&S card with the pre-paid tip money. I would like to know, so I can know what to expect.

You will see the tips on your S&S statement but with an immediate credit if you have prepaid.

  2. Another question: I know I am in central time zone. Jacksonville is an hour ahead. What time is it in the bahamas? Same time?

So its 3:14 where I am

    It is 4:14 in Jacksonville

What time is it in Nassau? I don't want to miss my excursions while I am there! Thanks!

    1 more day! :)

You will stay on "ship" time the entire trip although in Nassau they are in the same time zone as Jacksonville.

  3. Once we got dressed for our day (in our Clemson gear of course) we headed up to the main dining room to check out brunch. Oddly, they seated most everyone that came in together, I guess trying to maximize space and make it easier on the wait staff. We never mind because we like getting to know as many as possible, but you could see the different points of view at one table. There were 8 of us and 6 of us were laughing it up and joining in. Two you would've barely known were there and you could tell didn't want to be. I just had some coffee and a muffin. Little Brad of course had steak and eggs. lol

After breakfast we walked around a bit and stopped to play some giant chess on the Lido Deck next to the pool. My son is becoming quite the chess fan. I whooped em in the first game. He was shocked, the little stinker. Although he caught me blind and beat me even faster in the second game, so I quit and told him he was grounded. ;-)

We went to the Taj Mahal Theater for the Fun Ashore & Fun Aboard Presentation at 10:30 to hear what the Cruise Director had to say and try and win some free stuff. No luck, but it was fun. Immediately following we went up top to David's Steakhouse for Steakhouse Secrets Revealed at 12pm to get a good seat. It filled up pretty quick. They demonstrated a salad, appetizer, main course and a dessert and gave everyone attending a sample of them all. My little foodie loved it. It was at this point that we learned about the Chef's Table dinner and signed up after the demo. More on that later.

I am just down the road from Clemson, are you orginally from here?

  4. Thanks for responding! I actually enjoy being a homebody. I stay gone so much that I love just being lazy in my house. Also even though I'm a night owl on the ship, I'm not like that when I'm home. A friend wanted to meet up for dinner at 9 pm one night a few months ago. I was like nine o'clock? That's too late! I'm not driving out there that late! LOL I guess that's me being a true gemini. I really am two different people at home and on a cruise. :)

I think someone from our roll call was from Winder. Enjoy the Paradise. She'll always be special to me being my first cruise. Hope you book the Breeze soon!

I enjoyed your review and the 9 pm comment made me laugh. I have to dvr any show that I want to watch if it comes on after 9. My dog starts looking at me with her "is it not time for bed" face around 9.

  5. Does anyone know if a suction cup hanging corner basket would stay in the shower. I'm thinking about bringing one for all the shampoo bottles, shaving items. I hate having the stuff all over the floor while showering.

I purchased a shower organizer from avon that goes over the shower curtain rod and holds full size products.
