Awesome! Looking forward to reading your review. We are sailing on the Liberty this Friday! Cant wait!
-
How was the AC in the rooms? Heard many complaints stating the rooms were very warm.
-
We will be experiencing MANY firsts on our upcoming cruise aboard the Liberty.
First:
FTTF, Lido Deck Balcony, Private Cocktail Party with Roll Call group, Slot Pull with Roll Call group & Chef's Table not to mention our first visit to Aruba & Curacao! Excited beyond words!!!

If you "print" your boarding pass, the OBC will show on approximately page 4 in a separate section below the itemized charges. That's where mine is...took about 30 mins to show up after receiving my email confirmation from my PVP. :)
-
Look at your boarding passes. My OBC reflect on page 4 of the boarding pass under the itemized charge section.

I believe you can only get obc when u are booked early saver. We are up to $549 in obc for our balcony on the Breeze.
Kim
We are booked early saver and we selected a specific balcony cabin on the Lido Deck. However the price reductions only seem to be available should we allow Carnival to PICK our cabin....Hence my question.
-
Those receiving price reductions, are you booked in a specific cabin or are you booked in a guaranty cabin?
-
How was the situation with the cabin AC? There had been recent reports of cabins being hot due to the AC not functioning properly. TIA

Love the Southern Route late Jan early Feb. Weather was perfect!
Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Forums Mobile App...please excuse typos.

If they play Frozen, I'm jumping overboard.
:D:rolleyes::eek: Watch out for sharks!

We booked a JS on the Vision of the Seas in Jan 2016 with the BOGOHO sale. Today, the same Cat on the same cruise is $2500.00 more for 2 people!

We love our Lido deck balcony cabins. EXCEPT on Liberty. We booked 9276. There was a huge air intake vent over our heads. It sounded like a jet engine 24/7. We couldn't enjoy the balcony because of the noise. I implore everyone to stay away from 9276 through 9294 and 9275 through 9293.
See the red vent? Our cabin was directly below that.
Well crap! We are booked in 9280!

You want to send an email to: groupeventplanning@carnival.com
Name
Number of guest
Ship and Sail Date
Booking Number and Cabin Number
They will forward to the Maitre D. I received an email today with a confirmation. It took about 24 hrs for the response.
Good luck
Thanks so much for the information. Just sent my email....hoping for the best. We sail aboard the Liberty on 9/26/2014. Cant wait!

I just got our confirmation for the Chef's Table for the Carnival Miracle. We don't cruise until next year but I am super excited. I have tried on my other cruises but never succeeded because I waited until it was to close to the cruise and then sold out. The ones who have gone on the Chef's Table did you consider this to be a good experience?
Thanks
How did you reserve the Chef's Table ahead of time? I thought you had to take your chances and run to guest services to reserve. I would love to know how to reserve prior to boarding. Thanks in advance.

I'll be sailing out of Tampa in January. A lot of people seem to like the Marriott Waterside, but they were already sold out for our date.
I ended up booking at the Renaissance near the Tampa airport and it gets great reviews online. It's closer to the airport than the cruise port though. They have an airport shuttle. The hotel is connected to International Plaza, which looks like an upscale mall with lots of restaurants.
I've stayed several times at the Renaissance you are referring to. Beautiful place and the shopping and restaurants within walking distance are fabulous. You will enjoy it tremendously!

In St. Kitts, there are people with motorized golf carts to take you from the ship to the port gate for a donation.
-
We booked our first Lido Deck Balcony on the Liberty. Are these balconies covered?
-
We are also booked on the 9/26/2014 Sailing aboard the Liberty! 193 days to go!
-
So...how does this work with the new "MORE Everything Plan" with Verizon? This enhancement to their plan gives me FREE "Unlimited messaging to any mobile number in the world". Can I safely assume there will be no charges for incoming or outgoing texts?

Lido deck....20 paces from the pool, food & fun! That's where we will be Sept 2014!
Power going out on the Liberty?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I also just got off the Liberty this past Saturday & YES the ship has problems. We were in 9280 (portside) & lost our AC one night for several hrs....lost....meaning it stopped blowing any air. The temp in our room was 76 by their thermometer. Their optimal temp is between 70 & 74. Once it was working again the room temp was 68/69. We also lost water pressure for a short period of time.....no water in sink, unable to flush toilet. The last sea day the power went out in the aft section of the buffet for about an hour....the power to the engines was also down....we were drifting for almost an hour. It's only a matter of time. All of that aside, we had an awesome cruise. I loved the Liberty!!!
