Check out the iPad at Guest Services and do a tour of the ship's artwork. It was enjoyable and can be done at your convenience. Do it early in the cruise as the artwork cones to life and can be better enjoyed throughout your cruise.
PS - it's free!

IS this new pick your perk promotion combinable with the on-board booking benefits (OBC, category upgrades. & reduced deposit)???
Reading The_Big_Ms terms and conditions, it appears so but not when reading what I found on the website.
If anyone can clarify, much appreciated.

I couldn't find it on the US site! Anyone else see it?

I like the Ginger Mojito, and the Lucky Cat, and.... :D

Looking for Bustelo?
Or a colada? Yummy!

I believe you do. Suggest you self disembark and arrange for transportation in advance so there is a car or van waiting for you to take you to the airport. We shared the transport with others on our roll call. It worked perfectly.

We found it to be a very relaxing beach break without the expense of taxis, travel, etc. It's beautiful and there are multiple beaches, either very calm water or more active on the open water side by the zip line.
Another important fact, if you have the drink package, it can be used there, too. ;)

Hello, can you please contact us directly at the Captain's Club (800) 760-0654 - Option 2. We would be more than happy to establish a refund for you.
Wow. I'm impressed!
Way to go, Celebrity! :D:D

Wondered what others have heard about this new upgrade? Are the answers from the reps different or relatively consistent?

We were on Eclipse last week in Aqua class on deck 11 starboard aft. Initially I thought the sound I could hear was the rushing of the sea as it reminded me of the noise we used to hear all day in a rear-facing aft cabin on Caribbean Princess. However, on closer inspection of the balcony, we discovered the entire roof was in fact an air vent. The vents span a total of 9 Aqua cabins on Deck 11 and are clearly visible on the attached photo. We checked and they appear to be on both sides of the ship. The noise is certainly not annoying and you don’t really notice it when out at sea but it’s clearly there when you are docked.
We were in 1642, the first cabin under the vents to the left side, so looking at the deck plan, the vents extend along to 1626.
Thought people might find this useful as I haven’t found many references to it.
Has anyone noticed this same vent noise issue on the port side of aft Aqua class cabins as described by Apple5?
-
Some are doing it already...
The day will come.
Yessss

We just did it for an existing reservation - we kept the same cabin and they reduce our price to the category below.
MC
I was just told it's for new bookings only.
-
Today we were told by a Captain's Club rep that it is within a catergory and only from the lowest level. We've booked three A1 cabins this weekend moving from A2 to A1 at no charge. You can move from a C3 to a C2 but not a C2 to a C1.
Regarding S2 to S1, we did not discuss.
Hope this helps.
Yes, thank you. Do you know if it's only for new bookings, or can you upgrade an existing reservation?

Thanks for posting. I went to the S-cabin sticky and noticed that others have mentioned this air vent noise in balconies as well. But I only saw it specifically mentioned regarding staterooms on the starboard side.
You noted the same vents/noise issue on the port side cabins? Has anyone who has stayed in one of the first 9 or 10 AQ cabins on the port side, aft of the mid-ship hump cabins, noticed or been bothered by this air vent noise?
I am currently booked in one of these for my first transatlantic and hope to be able to spend a lot of time reading on the balcony.
We live in a trailer park in middle Tennessee.
We'll we be put in some "class" on our upcoming Century cruise?
Absolutely. You'll be in the paying class, just like all the rest of us. But you'll love it. -
OP's problem is that he will need a 7 night sailing to reach Elite but only booked a 3-nighter.
"I had planned a 3 day cruise in CC in Jan specifically so my transatlantic would be as ELITE."
With all the chatter for months and even years about the anticipated changes to the Captain's Club Program, maybe the OP should have taken his 3 nighter last weekend. We all knew it was going to be tougher to get to Elite once the changes were made even though we didn't know exactly what was coming.
-
I am ticked off for another reason. We are Select with 5 points. Under the old system we would have been 2 points short of Elite after our TA in April. Because it is a 13 night in a CS we will be Elite after that cruise. Now I do not have a reason to take another cruise between now and April.
Priceless! :D:D
-
Not exactly. On Royal, access to the Concierge Club is for anyone in a JS or above, and ALSO all D+ and Pinnacle members.
And passengers in the Ben & Jerry "Sweet". :D:D
-
And it didn't take long for someone to come in and change the tone of this thread. I guess the other twenty threads were not enough.
You are so right. I'm just thankful for all the good things in my life starting with my family, friends, having a great job and co-workers, and being able to cruise on Celebrity. And getting a few perks-a bag of laundry, a drink, some Internet minutes-is just the cherry on top.
Some perspective, please.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

I'm glad it will likely be just one coupon. Otherwise, it might be hard for me to pry myself away from the gelato counter! ;)

How does someone with one Celebrity cruise complain that the new Captain's Club program now fails unequivocally to properly reward their loyalty? I'm dumbfounded.
-
I appreciate that Celebrity did quite a lot to accommodate all the different cruisers in a variety of circumstances at various levels. I just became Elite and loved the benefits we received on our last cruise, as such.
Someday I may get to Elite Plus, or not. It's unlikely I will ever get to Zenith. So what?
I sail with Celebrity because I love cruising and really like the Celebrity experience. All the loyalty perks are extra!
I'm happy! Thanks, Celebrity.

That's why I'm asking...
We are booked on the 123 promotion and will get the classic alcohol package included free. We asked at the time of booking to upgrade to the premium but were told due to a computer problem they were unable to upgrade and charge us for the upgrade at that time. They asked us to call back a few weeks later to upgrade. We have not done so yet.
It surprised me to now see the words PREM BEV on our account.
Hmmm?
Question:
Those of you out there with the classic package via the 123 promotion...does you account say WAV7 BEV or WAV7 PREM BEV?
My reservation says Wave Bev Pkg on both bookings. No Prem shown on either of them.
-
And more than likely, she will have the final say . I know I will have a great time on either ship. Thanks again!
Young man, you are wise beyond your years! ;)
Enjoy your honeymoon cruise!

Wow. Just called Celebrity to get an OBC corrected and this is the current wait time. Business must be good!
