Hello all, my husband uses distilled water for his Bipap. I noticed on the special requests it shows distilled water as an option. Does anyone know if there is a charge for this? If so, what is the charge? Thank you in advance

does anyone have the price list for the Lotus Spa for the Coral?

Does anyone know if I can purchase the shampoo and conditioner at the store or in the spa?

I know when I was on Disney and I adored the shampoo/condition I was able to purchase it in the gift store to bring it home. I have never been able to locate Princess shampoo and conditioner online...

Thank you everyone. I did not like it on NCL so I am not overly happy to find it happened to Princess. Guess I also will pack a shampoo and conditioner.

I will be on the Coral Princess in March 2015. Does anyone know if the shampoo / conditioner and lotion is still in bottle form. I was recently on another cruise line and they have these pump things on the wall with shampoo & condition and body wash. It was quite nasty...so I am hoping that Princess does not go down that road...

Hello and thank you for replying. I had not heard anything about this practice until reading posts on "TIPS" for your cruise. I have never heard of a cruise ship charging for towels and was quite concerned with how NCL does.

As I have never cruised NCL I wanted to be sure that I understood the policy.

So if a room has 4 pool towels at the beginning of the cruise - they basically have to have 4 at the end ? and can you ask for more towels?

Would this be for towels taken OFF the ship ? All the other cruises I have gone one you can pick up as many pool towels as you need (One to lay on - one to dry with - one to use as a pillow) and there was not a charge. Can you explain the process?

I was reading posts this morning (since it is a nice snowy day and the Pat's game is not on till 3pm) and I came across a few about cruisers mentioning a charge if you do not return your pool towel ? Some even mentioned that they bring towels from home. Can someone shed some light on this....

Yep, next cruise I will bring a cheap 2$ towel from K-Mart, wife and I were stressed out last cruise because of the possibility that someone would steel our towel and we would be charged 25$ :mad: for that ugly towel.

 

On the ship not so worried, but on the beach like GSC, once in the water who knows who will take your towel and BAMM :mad: -25$

So cruisers are CHARGED to get pool towels? Can someone please elaborate on this....

I just read a review and the poster mentioned a coffee maker in her room on the Dawn... is this true? can anyone offer any other great tid-bits of information that a newbie NCL cruiser would need to know.....

Just arrived home from a 10 day Emerald Princess cruise (3/8 through 3/18) one of our islands we visited was Dominica. I cannot express in words the BEAUTY of this island. It was breathtaking in my opinion and the people we met have me wanting to go right back.

I had booked "off the beaten path" with Woody about a year ago and have to rave about this tour. He met us as our ship was cleared and we went on a small walk to his Land Rover :) while we walked he explained downtown Dominica and some history - great start.

There were a total of 4 of us on this tour and Woody. As we drove around (over 125 miles we covered!!) Woody gave us a history of the island and the people as we drove through each of the small communities on the East and West side of Dominica. Woody is VERY well known in Dominica and that bodes well for the people touring with him - we were greated at many stops with Big smiles and genuine happiness.

As we toured Woody showed us many places where Pirates of the Carribean was filled. That was exciting to me as POC is one of my favorites.

Our Land Rover tour brought us to many places the tour buses cannot - which was so exciting - Woody brought us to a remote beach where we sunned ourselves / played in the waves / had an amazing lunch and just became wonderful friends.

My rating is a 10 out of 10 for this tour......I WILL be back - and I will take this tour again! no question about it!!!!
