  1. December rates are very high, I agree. I will check for my port charges refund on the CC.
  2. March 2020 was my last actual cruise, on Sky Princess. Booked Meraviglia for December, and April, both cancelled. I changed my mind about booking the May 2021 Meraviglia. However, the August 21, Sept. 18, Oct 2 cruises on the Meraviglia $400 looks so good. But I am thinking December now, Dec. 4th Seashore $700 or Dec. 11 Seashore $669.
  3. My best guess would be that since you applied $1974 FCC from your 10/20 cruise, then they will reimburse you the port charges on the $4544, if they were $300 total, you will get that back on your credit card. Then you will have $4544 minus the port charges in FCC. They will not give you more FCC for the the difference between the $4544 - (port charges) - $1974. But I could be wrong. The wording says that they will give you FCC of 125% of your ORIGINAL fare. Not of your new fare.
  4. I booked my April 10th cruise with FCC from Dec. 12th. I get nothing 😞
  5. My 4/10/21 Meraviglia cruise will probably be cancelled also 😞 I will rebook for May 8.
  6. On the contrary, now is the time to book cruises AND invest in CCL, NCL and RCL. I also continue to book with my previously paid in full cancelled cruise. I intentionally paid in full to get more 125% cruise credit. April 10th, May 8th, July 3rd, August 14th cruises on the horizon.
  7. Best price cruise only rates are very different from the Up to $400 credit rates. $289 versus $349 on the same cruise.
  8. Sailing on 4/10 Miraviglia. I used FCC to pay for the entire cruise with $300 leftover. If it gets cancelled then we book again for August 2021 Meraviglia. We just keep rebooking until cruising resumes. Just my 2 cents.
  9. Future Cruise Credit. "Your next cruise departs in 112 days!"
  10. I also remember the Carnival Paradise. Non-smoking cruise ship, it did not last. People voted with their money. If Vaccines are require, people will vote with their money and I predict will not last. More people die from tobacco than Covid19.
  11. I am not saying that Cruise lines can't enforce a vaccination requirement. I am suggesting that I think that they should not enforce a vaccination requirement. I take an advocacy stance.
  12. Today I re-booked my cruise for April 2021. They did not mention anything about a vaccination requirement or a mask requirement. Widespread vaccination availability will not come to at least April. Also "any person with a history of a significant allergic reaction to a vaccine, medicine or food (such as previous history of anaphylactoid reaction or those who have been advised to carry an adrenaline autoinjector) should not receive the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine," Me and my son's medical history documents such history. It is not about rights, it is a health issue.
  13. Making someone personally financially responsible for spreading the virus based upon non-vaccination is ludicrous. I will sail without the vaccination, as in the past. Cruise lines should not force untested and unproven vaccinations.
  14. I have rebooked for April on Meraviglia. The MSC CSR said the balance would be applied to onboard credit and could be applied to the daily service charge. I will ask again to see that in writing.
  15. UPDATE: MSC issued my Future Cruise Credit of 125% of the Cabin rate. My travel agent said that I must book through her agency. When I called MSC, they said that I could book through them. A follow up question: "If the new value is lower than the FCC’s value, your remaining balance can be used towards upgraded accommodations, enhancements to your onboard experience, shore excursions, shipboard credits and more." I don't need upgraded accommodation. What are these enhancements to your onboard experience? Drink packages? Shore excursion; This is self explana
  16. 6 people have died in Covid-19 trials. 4 people have experienced Bell's Palsy. https://www.republicworld.com/world-news/uk-news/four-trial-volunteers-of-pfizers-covid-19-vaccine-develop-bells-palsy-us-fda-clarifies.html https://egyptindependent.com/fda-six-people-die-during-pfizer-biontechs-coronavirus-vaccine-trials/
  17. The Facts concerning Covid-19 Vaccinations according to CNBC. Covid-19 vaccines require two doses and patients will come back for a second dose because of potentially unpleasant side effects after the first shot. Those side effects include high fever, body aches, bad headaches, daylong exhaustion and other symptoms after receiving the shots. The symptoms were uncomfortable, and at times intense, the participants said they often went away after a day. Moderna and Pfizer acknowledged that their vaccines could induce side effects that are similar to symptoms associated with Covi
