Ok thanks!

I may have misunderstood - but just wanted to check. I did the free at sea for me and husband. The promo gave me booze package for two, dining for two, but only $50 per port excursion credit for one. Is that standard?
TIA

Good advice...I wouldn't have thought of that.
Thank you!

Thank you. I just found it odd that I could book dinner for 1 and not dinner for two? Oh well!

I am trying to book a few reservations for our Dec. 1 cruise on the NCL Joy. Cagney's is not available to book online, is that normal? I realize booking 5 weeks out might be difficult to get the times we want but for the Cucina it only give me options for 1, 4, 6, or 8 people? That seems really odd? Anyone else have this issue? TIA

Thanks everyone!

This may be a foolish question but when you bid on an upgrade it is per day or per trip? For example, if I bid $50 is that $50 total or $50 per night for a 7 night cruise? And it is applied to both my and my guest (there are two of us in the cabin.)
Thanks in advance.

Before bed drink a tall glass of water, take one of your favorite pain relievers (Advil, Tylenol etc) and eat a banana. Not kidding, try it!

Perfect thanks everyone!

First time cruising with the kids, we leave our passports in the cabin safe and use our drivers licence when leaving the ship but will we have to take the kids passports off the ship on port days? They don't have any other photo ID, they are only 8 and 14 years old.
Thanks in advance

Following. We will be in Falmouth on the HOTS in a couple of weeks with kids and can't figure out what to do.

It took me about an hour to pick a cruise (RC Harmony of the Seas) and weeks to pick a hotel! Now wheres the logic to that LOL. That being said part of the fun is reading all the posts on CC. Thanks everyone.
Now I just have to decided between Bahia Mar and B Ocean....

Would you consider the Doubletree GalleryOne for your family of 4? It has large rooms with a kitchen. Right on the water taxi stop, a few blocks to beach, pool etc. We found it pretty reasonably priced.
We stayed at Pier 66 several years back and the pool and property were lovely but I believe new owners now? Our next cruise we will possibly stay at Bahia Mar but haven't yet.
I'd be interested which one you choose and your opinion after you've stayed.
I'll check it out. Thank you

Which on would you pick for one night stay for a family of 4 - two adults, 2 kids?
Pier 66, B Ocean or Bahia Mar.
Pier 66 and B Ocean same price, Bahia Mar about $90/night more expensive.
Arriving early after cruise so best case scenario early check in or they take a luggage and we get to use the pool or beach until check in available.

Check out Best Western Plus Oceanside. They don’t have shuttle to/from hotel/airport, a taxi is $20-25, Uber is cheaper. They have a great free breakfast, 100 yards to beach, trolley and regular bus outside their door, water taxi within walking distance, restaurants within walking distance, washer/dryer.
I have stayed there the past 2 years and again January 2019.
It's sold:loudcry: out. :(

Any good hotel will be happy to hold your bags if your room is not ready - go grab some lunch or drinks and come back in the afternoon.
www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area tourist and hotel info.
When do you travel? Dates would help the suggestions to be closer to your target - hotel rates vary a lot by the season.
We will be there for Saturday April 21 (I suspect Saturday night is what is making it more expensive as well). I'm getting base rate of $339.00 US plus taxes etc for Embassy Suite 17th St

Sounds goods. I'll check it out.

We are staying one night in Fort Lauderdale post cruise. I've contacted Valuetrips twice in the last few months regarding reservations and haven't received any response. We are booked pre-cruise at the Hilton Marina but they are booked for the one night post cruise that we need.
-Looking for suggestions for a hotel for a family of 4
-would be awesome if they accommodated early check in (will be off ship early I assume)
-around $200-300 US / night
-shuttle to airport and/or breakfast included would be a bonus but not necessary
-clean!
Thanks in advance

Perfect thank you!

Does anyone know if the dividers on the Central Park balcony rooms on the Harmony can be removed? We have an adjoining room for the kids and I would ask to have it removed if it was possible.
Thanks in advance

Thanksfor making me smile today...essence of unicorn! I'll have to remember thatone. LOL

We are on the same sailing next month and I'm struggling with what to do in Falmouth.
-
I booked adjoining Central Park balcony rooms for our cruise on the Harmony next month. I booked me and my 14 year old daughter in one cabin and my husband and 8 year old daughter in the adjoining cabin. The plan is to have the two girls in one cabin and my husband and I in the other. We will just get the room keys fixed up when we get on board.

Booked to leave on the Joy this Sunday...we are travelling from Eastern Canada so its not like I can postpone. Any chance this will be an overly sanitized and extremely clean ship considering what just happened and I shouldn't be concerned? Off to pharmacy for Pepto Bismol and imodium! 🙂
