  1. Which is better Paradise Beach or Mr. Sanchos for family?

Which has the better beach? Restaurants? Staff etc

I know Mr. Sanchos is AI and Paradise is not so assuming two adults and two kids, plus lunch for 4, 10 alcoholic beverages, drinks for kids etc would we probably end up spending the same at both places?

  2. flying in a few days early is smart.

Key West for the day from FLL will take you about 4+ hours each way if the traffic is good -- that's not a day trip. :(

What hotel is showing you $39 for parking plus resort fees?

Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, it was $42.00 per night for parking and $33.00 per night for resort fees. My error, it will be $75 US which is $95 Canadian at today rate (and it looks like the exchange is getting worse).

  3. Resort fees AND parking adding another $100/per night to cost.

I booked a hotel and paid for it upfront (I have the option to cancel before specific date) and then in the fine print it was $50.00 US per night resort feels and $39.00 US per day parking.

I understand that we will likely have to pay for parking and perhaps even resort fees but it would be nice if at least the resort fees were stated somewhere before you book the room.

  4. We have two rooms (adjoining) for our family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids). Two kids will be in one room and parents in the other but we had to book one adult in each room because the kids are under age. Long story long, I received an inboard credit because of an error by RCCL. They asked me if I wanted it split between the two rooms and, not thinking, I said not to bother and just put it on my room. My husband likes to play poker and now I'm sorry I didn't put the credit on the other room that was booked in his name. Will they move the OBC for me? Should I ask before we sail?

  5. We've been to most ports in the Caribbean but never Falmouth. We are looking for recommendations for an excursion for a family of 4, including kids 9 and 14. We like beaches, zip lining...we're actually pretty open too options. I'm concerned about safety in Jamaica so a reputable company and something whereby there will be other people around (I don't want a private tour of any kind.) Thanks in advance!
