Does anyone know how to find out where your ship(Eclipse)docks in Stockholm as it seems to make a big difference as to how you plan your day.

Like many, I have been checking cabin availability on our upcoming cruise. Sorta hoping something more midship becomes available. A few things I find interesting.

 

1 - the number of cabins shown to you depends on the number of people in your room. If you need a room for 2, there aren't that many. But if I adjust it to 3 adults, then more show and on different decks. I get that it's because they are leaving them open for those that need the sofa bed. Still find it interesting.

 

2 - learned about the UK site last night on the upsell fairy thread. Checked it out. Tons more show on that site. I mean a lot more. Interesting.

What is the upsell fairy thread can you post some clues!

It makes no sense

as:-

Carnival group cruise brands include P&O Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line,P&O Cruises Australia, Holland America Line, Carnival Cruises, AIDA and Costa.

In your case the TA accepts some of these cruise lines for bookings outside USA and some not yet they are all in the same company.I am from the UK and do not understand any of it.

If I realised this at the start I would never had booked.I was looking for a relaxing holiday

Booked on the ovation on 22nd April.However after numerious phone calls the only dining option they can offer is 21.00 every night with nothing available in the grande.Anyone any suggestions as I want to eat between 8 to 8.30 dont mind which restaurent.

I kindly advise that I have revised the availability for booking your

dining. I have a couple time slots available.

American Icon Grill is available every evening at 9.30 PM

Silk is available very evening at 9.15 PM or 9.30 PM

Chic is available very evening at 9.00 PM or 9.30 PM

These are the only time slots I have available at the time. The Grande

restaurant is fully booked for the sailing, however, you may always inquire

onboard as there may be cancellation or reschedules at last minute.

Dynamic Dining is not going to work, it is a failure that Royal is still holding on to for this class of ships. It has been cancelled for the rest of the fleet. It will go the way New Coke went years ago.

 

While the restaurants are full in the Dynamic Dinning program I'm sure they have left open slots for other dinners. I cancelled my Dynamic Dinning of this ship and made them give me fixed time normal dinning. Which gives me all the choices, show up to my fix time or go to another restaurant, the choice is back with me.

 

I would not worry that you cannot book the dinning online. Just wait until on the ship.

I have tried to book fixed dining but there is no availability,I am on a waiting list

Have been trying to book dynamic dining on ovation on 22nd april sailing.The earlist we can dine is 21.00 and only in 2 restaurents everything else is full.On two nights there is no option in any restaurents,spoken to my TA and RCI and there response is hope there is some cancellations.Can anyone help with what to do -thanks

Tried to book dynamic dining on ovation of the sea on 22nd April 2016 but all I get on most nights is :-

We're sorry, this restaurant is not available during this meal time or one or more of your selected guests do not meet the minimum requirements. Please check onboard.Does that mean all the restaurants are full?

Does anyone know the opening times for a drink in the diamond lounge on the Quantum of the Seas ,I supose it will be the same for Ovation of the sea as that is the one I need.Thanks

It seems that if you book a guarantee cabin here in the uk then thats it NO CHANGE under any condition however in the US i believe you can go back in the pool and be assigned another cabin-if so than this is just not fair as we will all ways be left with the worst cabins and has got nothing to do with consumer protection laws are dictated by country-but maybe I have it all wrong and if so I am sure you will tell me

Royal Caribbean is changing it's cancellation policy effective March 7th.

 

The cancellation penalties now start at 90 days out for all cruises 5 nights or longer.

Cabin 13678 shouldn't be too bad noise wise as it is mostly under the tables area and its bed is on the outside close to the balcony door.

We had a few balconies under the kitchen area of the WJ. First on Radiance had dishwasher loading and operation noise above it typically just after midnight. Second on X Connie class ship, the Summit, was right under where the food carts rolled out from the kitchen over a threshold in the early morning.

its location is cabin number 13678 - Balcony (D4)-thanks

been issued a balcony cabin on deck 13 under winderjammer-are these cabins noisy from the footfall above

Wondered if its possible to place you guarantee cabin back in the pool to try again if the booking was made in the UK or do you have to accept the one issued-thanks

Just become Diamond and applied for my shareholders OBC as usual on my next cruise.However its been turned down as I am now Diamond and have had some discount applied to my booking for having a balcony-is this normal.

I believe that 3 drinks are loaded onto your seapass if you have reached Diamond-What sort of drinks can you have-thanks for taking the time to reply
