We turned it down once - we were sailing just to relax and hadn't brought any dressy clothes. Invited one other time & went, captain was delightful and dinner was fantastic.

 

If one does get invited to dine at the captain's table does my dh have to wear a tux? no problem for me as I bring a couple of long dresses.

We dress up on formal nights even though we are in Aqua. Have never felt out of place.

If one gets shuttle from ship in A:M to get to little township in Mykonos, can we also get shuttle back to ship?

we are also on our first transatlantic in October on the Reflection. Very apprehensive but at the same time need to get it out the system as its something I've wanted to do for years.

 

We are also on the October Reflection transatlantic. We did one in November 2012. It was wonderful. Calm seas nearly all the time. .What few swells we did have weren't that scary. But that is have the fun of cruising for to have a few good waves of a few feet. Have you joined the roll call for this crossing?

I believe then that we will be onboard together.

Nereus, yes we will be on the same cruise. We are doing the B2B.

We are from Ont. also. What a small world.

They will share the rotation, starting with Captain Pagonis till about the end of the year. Captain Bouzakis is on Equinox now, will go on holidays and then take over in Dec. (leeway of 31 days..) We'll be onboard Reflection a month from today so I will try to post when I have a more definite date.

Capt Bouzakis will share the Master duties on the Reflection.

I was under the happy impression that Captain Pagonis is the Captain of the Reflection. Is this not the case

I had heard as well that Captain Pagonis would be on Reflection for the Transatlantic and wondered who would be taking over from him both on Silhouette and Reflection.

 

The news of Capt Gary leaving is a real stunner.

Will captain Pagonis also be on the November 4th Sailing of the Reflection

from Venice to Barcelona. He was wonderful on the Silouette in January.
