  1. The re-useable aluminum Vero water bottles weigh 6oz (fairly heavy???) and can hold 750 ml. The previous plastic-waste-disposable-bottles (also not insulated) probably weighed a bit less and held 500 ml. So if a full aluminum bottle is too heavy, just don't fill it all the way.
  2. "Pay per view movies?" Perhaps I'm missing something here but the interactive TV has many movies and some TV series/shows available at no cost. "Personalized fact sheet for the following port of call?" Regent used to send these to all suites pre-covid but since then I've had to go to Destinations for them to look it up in their computer and print me a copy. And of course they've not been updated for several years.
  3. I think those specific-price offers have now gone the wayside....
  4. Ask your butler to bring you larger cups like the ones used in CC. Then use the coffee pod, let it run, then hit it again for more water to run thru the pod. Try it a couple of times to determine how many 'hits' work for you. For us, it's 3 times for 1 pod for 1 cup
  5. All restaurants will offer typical American Thanksgiving food as an option. NOT family-style, but the typical entree plate will include turkey, small scoop of stuffing/dressing, sweet potato (usually mashed variety), gravy, cranberry sauce, and a green vegetable. A couple of pie choices for dessert. But if turkey's not your thing, there will be plenty of other options from which to choose.
  6. We’re thrilled to announce that the construction of Seven Seas Prestige™ began today at the Fincantieri-Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy. Set to be delivered in 2026, the ship will be the first of two Prestige-Class ships. Seven Seas Prestige will host up to 850 guests and, with a gross tonnage of 77,000, will boast one of the highest guest-to-space ratios in the industry. You and your clients can be the first to learn about the soon-to-be-announced innovations, such as the reimagination of the palatial Regent Suite, new accommodation categories, new dining experiences, and much more, by signing up on our website. Will you be among the first to experience Luxury Transcended?
  7. Take the train from Anchorage to Whittier https://www.alaskatravel.com/alaska-railroad/anchorage-whittier/
  8. What about Easter Island and Robinson Crusoe Island, both in the south Pacific? Regent's Seven Seas Mariner will go there early next year: https://www.rssc.com/cruises/MAR250216/summary?source=CruiseSearch&m=2025-2_2025-3&sh=MAR We will be onboard for that one.
  9. Or...."dress Jeans?" You've got to be kidding!
  10. Depends on the time of day, day of the week, and an unknown number of how many others are trying to get thru at the same time you are. I've had the best luck when calling immediately when they open. Monday is also very busy since it's the first business day of the week so you can expect longer hold times
  11. Vanicream is the product line onboard Regent. Shampoo, conditioner (meh), bar soap, body cream.
  12. I do know that a few years ago the 2 restrooms on deck 7 (starboard side between the guest suites and casino) were turned into crew cabins and numbered in the 3000's vs 700's on that deck. Occupied by Boutique crew members while we were on WC earlier this year. Next time you're on Mariner take a look at the signs on 7 with the deck layout...still shows restrooms there.
  13. Pool Grill was open many.nights on our Mariner World Cruise this year.
  14. YES! We were on this year's World Cruise Jan-June. A variety of complimentary classes are offered on a rotating basis. Pick up the schedule in the fitness center on embarkation day. That will specify the classes and times for your voyage. Typically a daily "morning stretch" at 7am and an "evening/sunset stretch" at 6pm. In between there will be classes at various times (depending on port vs sea day) for Pilates, Core Conditioning(abs), Yoga, Spin, HIIT. That sort of thing. There will be sign-up sheets due to limited space in the facility. You also have free access to all the machines and free weights. Will be back onboard for WC25!
  15. It's rather hard to discern the difference between "obvious covid symptoms" and those of a common cold, COPD, asthma and other causes of such symptoms. As someone who has has pretty much had every test to determine the cause of my 20+ years of chronic cough - I would not attempt to judge someone under these circumstances. Every sneeze or cough is not covid.
  16. I don; think Regent WANTS to book with the max number of connections - it's the airlines that will dictate the price for what the market will bear. People want "better" itineraries or nonstops, so the airlines will charge top-dollar for those routes. OTOH people scream that they want "lower prices" which the airlines will accommodate with multi-stop itineraries...and those are likely the flight combinations that the airlines will provide for those lower contract rates vs published rates. Let's put the blame where the blame is due.
  17. Not necessarily the case. We had them just 2 days ago for our walking tour in Bruges which was a Regent excursion.
