  1. I was told any hotel, any time basically. I have done a little research but not enough to confirm that. I'll have to report back but it sounded like no specific place or brand for the hotel or resort stays.
  2. I saw in the other thread that someone posted some details of a package so I'll do the same here. We already had two cruises planned to spend enough to take advantage of all of the extras - the hotel packages and other stuff as well - so we felt like it was a good deal. For those that don't travel as much or can't flex the dates for the hotel stays I can see how it might not be a good deal.
  3. I can confirm that the call I caught and the package I booked was legit. It is part of the FAQ on the Princess website as well: https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/pre-cruise/prepare-for-your-cruise/ (see screenshot for a snip of the FAQ). We purchased the promotion package and have actually applied it to a couple of cruises. The Princess Promotions website looks a bit dodgy for sure; I can't blame you for questioning it. My caller sent a follow-up email with a Princess Cruise Lines signature as a travel planner and links to the FAQ. Easy enough to spoof for sure so I was skeptical as well, but after a bit of research we committed and we're happy we did.
  4. Ah yep! And then there's that. It all comes down to the bottom line for sure. Personnel to profit ratio or how many people have the plus or premier beverage packages on any given voyage.
  5. Our Mediterranean cruise in November wasn't selling water at the gangways on the way off the ship (Island Princess) but our Caribbean cruise just a couple weeks ago was (Regal Princess). Might be weather, port, or boat staffing dependent? Not really sure.
  6. SuzieQ521 - we got the water several ways when we had our drink package on Island Princess last fall: room service by ordering on the app, at any bar or location that is serving drinks, while laying poolside and ordering on the app, or on the way off the ship. They just scan your medallion if you order in person. Keep in mind only the 500 mL bottles are included not the one liter bigger bottles.
  7. Just off of the Regal Princess last week and they allowed us to bring on our own soda. I prefer Dr. Pepper and it just isn't ever on the boats, so I always try and bring my own. Beware that they may question bottles of soda versus canned, but I took an 8-pack of the 8-oz bottles that were still wrapped in the complete plastic and didn't have an issue. Our friends took two 12 packs of canned soda for the same cruise with no problem.
