We are sailing on the MSC Euiribia in April.. What is the earliest time we will be able to disembark? We were planning to take a 2:05 flight from Heathrow to Florida?  Is this possible? Is it advisable?....The National Express appears to be the most economical choice, but I don't think that we will be able to make it this flight. Is a limo service our best option?

We are taking our first MCC Voyage in April aboard the Euribia. We plan to book a pre-cruise tour that will provide transportation to the ship, but need advice about how to get from the ship to the airport (Heathrow) after the cruise. Thanks.

I received the Pfizer vaccine yesterday.....I feel fine.....just a little soreness in my arm (like you might feel after getting any kind of shot).....In 3 weeks, I will be getting the 2nd dose.....I know that we still have a long way to go, but hopefully, this will help me get back to doing the things I loved to do before this madness began.....It may take awhile.....but I am confident that I will sail again!.....Stay safe!

The motivation for my original post was not to advocate changes in US laws .... I am simply frustrated that this virus has denied me the opportunity to enjoy the cruising experience which is one of the things we always look forward .....My wife & I have been on over 25 cruises..... We have had to cancel 2 as a result of COVID....We have made reservations for 3 more for 2021 - and likely we will be forced to cancel one or more of these - which makes me sad.....I long resisted my wife's desires to take a Transatlantic cruise....I always feared that I would be "bored" with so many "sea days"....now, I would jump at the chance to be on one...To me, a "Cruise to Nowhere" isn't something that could ever replace an adventure with stops in several ports....but our world may never be "normal" again....and I hope that cruising can return in some fashion....SOON!

I enjoy being at sea & the ship experience....dining, gambling, entertainment...and just relaxing aboard a cruise ship....I do take shore excursions, but I have been to the Caribbean ports so many times that I don't need to get off the ship to enjoy a cruise....Many countries won't allow US passengers to disembark in their ports any time soon.....I don't want to wait for a vaccine.....I know this would not appeal to everyone, but.....Would anyone be interested in a cruise to nowhere if it was offered by Celebrity?

We were booked on the Inaugural sailing of the Apex (April 5)......we received our refund from Celebrity as well as a refund for the flights we booked on Celebrity Air.....can't wait until it's safe to sail again

Looking to purchase a "souvenir".....one L bottle of Johnny Walker Blue.....will be sailing on the Silhouette on Nov 14.....anybody have an idea about the going price these days?

The new $ 14 "tax" only applies to reservations made AFTER 10/10.....If the "complimentary" beverage was one of your "free" perks for a reservation made BEFORE 10/10.....the new policy will not effect you....Happy Cruisin'

We sail from Bayonne in 2012 a few days after Hurricane Sandy slammed NJ.....We had no electricity or heat in our home....We weren't sure if we could get to the port until just a few days before we were scheduled to sail.....It was very hard to get any info from RCCL.....We decided to go.....One couple inner group stayed home.....We had a great cruise....I did not feel the least bit guilty (my neighbors watched my home).....When we returned home, the heat & electricity was restored....There was devastation all around us.....and we pitched in & volunteered to help our less fortunate neighbors.....We now live in Florida & we have a cruise booked this year (at the end of hurricane season)

Planning an Alaskan cruise from Seattle......never been there......can anyone recommend a hotel for pre-cruise stay?

If you have trip insurance & you cancel....wouldn't you get the deposit back?

A small gratuity to the cocktail waiter or waitress is $ well spent.....You won't have to try to flag someone down if you want a second....or third....or fourth drink at dinner.....And the next night, he or she will be at your table when you are seated ready to take your order

We were scheduled to sail on the Reflection in June 2015......Flight delays (missed our connecting flight in Washington)....Re-routed to Munich & on to Rome.....We were 8 hours late.....but because we booked "Choice Air"......We missed the tour we were scheduled to take on Rome....Celebrity reps met us at the airport in Rome.....It was 4 PM.....Ship was scheduled to sail at 5PM....Celebrity got us a "crazy" Italian limo driver.....drove over 90 mph......We arrived at the ship.....TEN MINUTES LATE....but the Captain WAITED for us......We told this story many times, but we really felt like "WE WERE CELEBRITIES ON CELEBRITY!"

Driving down to Miami this March to sail on the Equinox. We usually try to avoid Miami & sail out of Fort Lauderdale. Any suggestions regarding the best (and most economical) places to park would be greatly appreciated.:)

We are sailing on the Zuiderdam in December.....We received a future cruise credit as a price adjustment when our cruise dropped in price.....I would like to book a future cruise while onboard....My question....Can I expect any additional perks from HAL?

Just sent Celebrity an email.....I have 2 future cruises booked.....Equinox in March 2018 & Edge in March 2019......Lots of OBC for both.....Intended to spend some on shore excursions.....Website does not allow me to "explore" potential excursions in Cruise Planner....In fact, the website does NOT "recognize" my 2 reservations.....I have no intention of spending hours???? on the phone w/ a Celebrity rep to book my shore excursions....I will be booking my shore excursions with a third party & spend my OBC on something else.....Did the employees working in Celebrity's IT Dept. all graduate from Trump University?:D

We had had our March 19 cruise "cancelled" by Celebrity.....We are considering our options.....We are disappointed, but realistic - we know we are just "one customer" & big companies cater to other big companies in their pursuit of the almighty dollar.....It's the same situation when you get involuntarily bumped from a flight.....only the compensation for that is generally higher.....Good luck & safe travels...

Booked an E-2 Infinite Veranda (PORT) for March 17, 2019 ...$1729 pp

Where can I find out about "alcohol packages"?......I drink, but the LW only drinks a few......Do we both have to get a package? .....Any other options?

I know we can bring 2 bottles of wine on board, but I am a beer/vodka kind of guy? This is only my second HAL cruise......We switched to Celebrity where free alcohol packages are generally a much desired "perk"!:halo:

250 may seem to be a bit unreasonable, but...... The catamaran owner may be worried about the safety of the other passengers.....Suddenly shifting too much weight could cause a boat to capsize.....More likely.....It's an economic issue.....It's more desirable to book 2 -175 lb passengers than one who weighs in at 350....I usually start thinking about the weight I gained near the end of the cruise...And never order more than two desserts on the last night...:)

Booked Choice Air last year for our Mediterranean cruise.....

Tampa to Washington DC to Rome....

Flight delays caused us to miss our connecting flight....

Choice Air re-routed us to a later flight to DC......sent us to Munich......then on to Rome

Almost missed our ship, but a 90 mph taxi ride & we made the ship with minutes to spare

Next time....

We will fly in a day early, but.....

We will book again using Choice Air!
