They are no longer offering this event.
We had an informal meet and greet for our Roll Call on the 1st sea day late afternoon at the Sunset bar. Had about 50 of us show up.
Someone from our Roll Call reached out to Celebrity about having one. They offered to provide space in Eden in morning and there would be a charge for set up and staff at the bar and of course any beverages. They would not guarantee any Officers would be available.
Thanks…

I feel vindicated now. I didn't imagine it then. I really thought I was being an idiot, but she did go further than usual. Thank goodness! 😁
What actually happened was the Captain was upset that Arsenal didn’t top the Premiere League. Won’t even talk about the Cup Final. Cheers…

I'm running the roll call for my upcoming cruise on the Eclipse. I want to publish the link for signing up for the Celebrity Connections/Meet & Greet, but I can't seem to find the sign up link. The URL provided https://www.celebritycruises.com/int/cruise-critic-connections goes to an information page.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Alan
Trying to do the same. Do you have a contact e-mail at Celebrity to share? Thanks…

I’d read the reviews. Izzy or whoever used to manage the place was quite a character. I’ve stayed here before and it was fine for an overnight with a shuttle to the ship. Not sure if they still offer that though as it’s been years since we stayed.
Shuttles were active during our one nighter earlier this year…

Rodeway is alright for an overnight stay. No charge shuttle listed for airport and cruise port. The restaurant onsite, Marina84, is a sports bar and can get ‘lively’. Hotel is a reasonable choice. Enjoy…

Regarding eating at Moderno, as my old granny used to say “Try it! You’ll like it!”…maybe…but try it anyway. Enjoy…

Don't be silly - that would make me 462 years old 🤔
I'm only 312 years old, but about 100 years older than your Uncle Sam
Here's my biopic

JB 🙂
JB, being an ex-pat, know all about ‘John Bull’ from my schooling and ‘proper’ upbringing. Not sure about Uncle Sam but he certainly is not mine. Having ‘broken bread’ with you, gotta say that you have aged well. Cheers…

I knew he was old, but I didn't know he was that old!
Having met ‘our’ JB and ‘broken bread’ with him, can state, categorically, that he is not that aged. No further comments…

JB, an alter ego?
‘God Save The King’ is the national and royal anthem for the British territories, Commonwealth realms, and the British Crown Dependencies. The author of the lyrics remains unknown although it is often attributed to the composer John Bull.(1562-1628).

............. as long as you like mayo on your "French fries" 😏.
In the same vein, in British "fish & chip shop" chips ( not what you call "potato chips" but a much fatter version of the fries that you get in the US or Belgium) you choose whether to add salt & vinegar - but in Birmingham they come ready-doused in curry sauce unless you remember to say "no curry sauce please".
I rarely visit Birmingham - and always forget.😧
JB 🙂
JB, don’t forget Brummie Bacon Cakes and Pikelets. Yummy Brummie!

All depends on whether or not you’re an Arsenal supporter. Yuki da!

Just as an aside, have heard of cabin smoke alarms being triggered by excessive steam from the shower when the shower door was left open. Really surprised the shower occupant when fire crew entered the cabin. Not sure if any alarm sensitivity adjustment was required…

To get to LaGuardia, which is better: from Red Hook or from the ferry drop off at Wall St? We've never done either, and we aren't familiar with the geography of it. Thanks.
Check out the ferry route map at ferry.nyc. You want to be on the east side of the East River. You’ll notice that North Williamsburg ferry stop is closer to LGA; however, it means taking the ferry to Wall Street and transferring to the East River route ferry. A bit of a pain but depending on how you feel about the traffic around Red Hook it may give you an alternative. Good luck…

Wanna escape Red Hook’s traffic congestion? Hop the ferry to Wall Street and cab/Uber from there. Just a thought…

Colin & Ruth - Hola from Talkeetna....
Hope you are enjoying life & all your adventures!Although it was HOT - we still enjoyed the unplanned extended stay in Cartagena.
Even though we had No Power, No A/C & No Cooking Power for part of the time - the crew were cheerful & went out of their way to make the days better for All!
To be honest - it was way too hot outside to eat hot food anyway - The Popsicle's & Italian Ice were very much welcome...Most all made the Best of the situation & our extra days in port!
Cheers - Von
👍 👍 Good to hear from you. Hope all is well in the Last Frontier.
‘Hot’ is an understatement but the crew, if not senior management, were top notch.Yup! The unplanned days in Cartegena were enjoyable in a strange way. Was happy when the a/c came back on. Stay well.
Cheers…- 1

Hmmm! Not as bad as having a large TV on the wall in the Butcher’s Cut broadcasting MSC advertising all the time. Very tacky…
