  1. Lol, We were just at Universal Studios yesterday and it was crazy busy. I’d be more concerned with the people visiting from all over the world there, than the fraction of people on a cruise ship. And there was definitely more cleaning on our cruise last week than at the park. I tried to avoid touching railings as much as I could and washed or used sanitizer as often as possible. My girls and I were singing the “wash your hands” song from the ship the whole day hahaha 😄 I did notice there were a lot of purell stations though. But at our huge hotel? Not so much 🤷🏻‍♀️ Washy washy!
  2. Ship - Symphony of the Seas Deck - 10 Stateroom # - 10709 Stateroom Category – boardwalk balcony Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – For the most part. When Aqua Show was on you can still hear it with balcony door closed. But it wasn’t terrible. When you are tired enough from the fun, it’s no problem going to sleep 😆 Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? - No Any other comments? - Great view from the balcony. Room is about halfway to the back over the boardwalk. Could still see the ocean, and the Aqua show Wot not much obstruction from the Abyss slide. Trundle bed for the kids so they didn’t have to share the same space and kick each other lol. Sofa closest to balcony. Clothing space is minimal. I miss the upper shelves above the desk like on Oasis, to store things like sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.
  3. Currently on Symphony and have been told by a Guest services crew that it is a full ship.
  4. Us too! A couple of years ago we had a Crown Loft on Oasis, one of the ones facing the back of the ship. We loved it! Watched a few intense games of dodgeball on the basketball court lol. 😂
  5. We are on Symphony this weekend and I believe they have trundle beds instead of a double sofa. Would that be an option?
  6. When we called and booked. We were booking the “we choose your room” option for balcony and told her we preferred boardwalk over Central Park if possible. We knew it wasn’t a for sure thing. We didn’t know which one we would get, and would have been fine with CP, but we were happy to get BW.
  7. We booked a Neighborhood guarantee, and had asked for a Boardwalk room if possible. Got our assignment about 3 weeks ago for our Feb 29 Symphony cruise. Room 10709. I’m pretty happy with the location.
  8. From what I’ve read on here, you cannot add guests to the room. So you could just have them stay with you in that room and keep the other while absorbing the cost of the empty room.
  9. I just checked mine too for Feb 29 Symphony cruise and I’m getting the same message. I was even on this morning checking it and it was fine but not now 🤷🏻‍♀️
  10. We stayed at the Hotel Alberto del Senato. Absolutely wonderful stay. Right beside the Pantheon in the Piazza. Literally walk out the door and walk into the Pantheon. Nice clean room, and a nice rooftop bar to enjoy the city view after a long day of walking around. Attached is the view from our room.
  11. Hello. We are going on Symphony end of Feb and this cruise will bump us to Platinum. When do they bump up the points? When the cruise starts or when it ends? Just curious for the purpose of discounts on Next Cruise and on board perks. Thanks!
  12. If they don’t or you don’t want to pay extra, I’ve brought small baggies of protein powder. Or protein bars.
  13. Okay good to know! One of the reasons I loved the CL was because of all the space, lol. Of course all the other perks are amazing too, but we have two daughters, and it was so much better having all the storage room for clothing and the two bathrooms. Ahhhh, I can dream about having one again someday lol. Anyways, thanks for your input!
  14. I just received an email for the RoyalUp program and have a question. Currently we are booked in a Guarantee Neighborhood balcony on Symphony of the Seas for Feb 29. They are offering bidding for a Junior Suite, Ultra Spacious Ocean View Lg Balcony, Spacious Ocean View Balcony and Ocean View balcony. My question, is do they ever change the bid options closer to the cruise? We were lucky to stay in a Crown Loft last time on Oasis, because we got an amazing deal, and were hoping to get an offer for any Sky Class Suite. Now that I’ve tasted the suite life, it’s hard to go back lol.
