  1. Not sure what kind of 'pics of the deck 11 AQ cabins or balconies' you want... attached is a pic of deck 11 from the tender. I have other photos of 'deck 11'.

We were on the 02 January 2012 BA to Valparaiso Cruise and we had a CC cabin on Deck 7, but during our 'cabin crawl' we saw an AQ cabin on deck 11. We also visited a renamed AQ on deck 9... all 3 of our cabins looked pretty much the same inside, except for shower.

Thanks for the pic. The aft cabins/balconies on deck 11 are the elusive shots. Any pics from above looking down or up from the aft bar are what I am looking for. Right now there is a lot of speculation as far as privacy from above on any of the deck 11 cabins. Did you get a chance to get up to deck 12 and look down even if you didn't take a picture?

    Thanks.

  2. That will be our cabin, too! And you just might be on to something....gives a new meaning to "room service"! :D

I'm just going in with a different mindset on this cruise. We are going to be more in the "hub" of activity; More noise from below, more noise from above, a waft of smoke now and again, and someone being able to peek up or down at me. I've been in midship balconies that had plenty of these.

I'm looking at the positives; bigger balcony, great views, very quick access to a cocktail with my premium package, maybe some music at night while I sit on my balcony, sun loungers one quick flight upstairs, some people watching, a 100% chance of getting a spot next to the railing for sail-aways, and still paying less for this cabin than CC or a regular veranda.

    I'm in.

  3. Jim - Sorry it's not more clear, but it was getting quite dark as we sailed past!

You were in our favorite cabin! Glad we "captured you". :D

    gimletgal,

    Thanks for the pic.

I cropped your shot a little and added some lighting. If you object to it, I'll remove it.

added to this shot, these balconies are starting to take shape.

I'll be in the near irregular shaped one on the Summit.

I just have to figure out how to get the bucket on the rope from the balcony down to the bartender :D

  4. I haven't seen this answered in this thread...

My wife and I are both getting the Premium Package.

I do enjoy a nice beer with a snifter of sambucca on the side. Do you have to order one thing, consume it, then order another, or can I sit at the bar and order both at the same time? Can I walk away with this combo or will I be flagged as a potential cheater now having security tail me throughout the ship? :D

I don't want them (or anyone here for that matter) to think that I am trying to pull one over on X, that's why I wrote that we are BOTH getting the Premium Package.

    Thanks,

    MrJulius:)

  5. We just got off of the Victory and had anytime dining. Every night we got a booth for two, the same wait staff, and never waited more than 30 seconds to be seated.

WAY better than our last cruise...20 years ago, when we were seated at a table for four with the most obnoxious man I have ever met and they couldn't move us. We had requested a table for two or eight at the time.

We really enjoyed this cruise :)
