  1. Can anyone provide a recent menu/display of available packages for Tiki Bikini Hut? We will be in Nassau in about 3 and a half weeks and just want to see if anything has changed since they updated the bar! We were there in June 2016 and are looking forward to spending our day there when we return in a few weeks!!!

  2. I would probably plan to leave Maho about 1 1/2 hours before your all aboard time. Ride should be about 25 minutes but with the narrow roads, an accident could really delay things. You could spend any extra time checking out the shops or getting a frozen drink at one of the bars right outside the security gates. Before the new bridge was built we had one experience where it took close to an hour to get back. We were fine but the other people in the taxi van were leaving 1/2 hour before us.

  3. Get dropped off in town. The buses ride along the road two parallel roads back from the beach promenade. There are lots of minibuses and they will have signs in the window for Maho. Allow plenty of time as the roads can be busy on the way back.

We will be in port on a day with one other ship and Maho beach and the bar close by are our plans! How much time does it take on avg in November to get back to port? We are in port from 8am -5pm!! Would an hour be sufficient?

  4. We have cruised many times and have YET to figure out a good way to communicate with each other when we do separate things while on board; WITHOUT having to go all the way back to the room! I love to lay by the pool and chill, especially on sea days while DH like to go workout, walk around, etc. There are MANY times that I need or want to move spots, or go get some food or drinks but I am afraid to move because then we spend forever trying to find one another again!!! On our last cruise we purchased the internet plan and thought we would be able to imessage each other but that didn't work! Not sure what we were doing wrong! It has been several years since we've been on RCCL and I'm sure the internet pkgs and phone apps have improved tremendously!! With that being said, what way do you guys use to communicate with your spouse or family while on board??

    Thanks!!

  5. More sunscreen than you think you will need, and on a second note there I'll add to use lotion sunscreen instead of spray. If you are new to cruising just take my advice and check out all the people on the 2nd day of your cruise that have the CRAZY sunburn streaks from using spray sunscreen!!! You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it!!! LOL Sunscreen is WAY high on board so be prepared!! I would also recommend an extra pair of flip flops or beach/pool shoes! I had a flip flop blow out on our last cruise and had to buy a pair on board; paid way more than I would normally pay just for beach/pool shoes! I definitely agree with bringing a tervis or yeti to keep your drinks cold but I'd grab a cheapo one at Wal-Mart so you don't have to worry about forgetting or losing an expensive tumbler!!

  6. My vote......GO TO MR SANCHOS!!!!!! I can't wait to go back to Cozumel and visit Mr Sanchos! GREAT price for AI, GREAT food and drinks, & clean property!!! I never had to lift a finger for food or drinks the entire time I was there!!!!!!

  7. For me it really depends on how packed the ship is!!! The cruise we were on last week was completely sold out. There were also a lot of new cruisers on board! The first night the MDR was great, quick and no problems! 2nd night was the formal night and it was a NIGHTMARE!!!! The service was so ridiculously slow and the food was NOT what it normally is on formal night! It was !!!!! We left before we even had dessert!!!The last night we had a nice leisurely dinner at the buffet and it was great!!! We ate on our time table and the food was really good!!! We have only ran into the MDR issues on one other cruise so I can't complain but the buffet is definitely always an option for us!!!

  8. Be prepared to wait and be packed in like SARDINES before you board unless you have FTTF or are Platinum +!!!! We just got back on Sunday from a 3 day Victory cruise! We arrived at port at about 11 and quickly got thru security and received our S&S cards. We were in Zone 4 to board but still had to wait about 30-45 mins before we were able to board. I have been on several 3-4 day cruises but never in the summer! IT WAS SO PACKED EVERYWHERE we went on the ship!!! Our room was located on deck 2 and was fully updated!!! VERY VERY NICE!!!!!!!! I was super impressed with the updates!!!

  9. We printed our boarding passes and then went back in a pre-ordered Cheers for our cruise this weekend. I am concerned because it is not showing on the boarding pass, obviously, but we also did not get a email confirmation about the order. Has anyone had any hassles with this or did it just show up automatically when they printed you S&S card? I just want to have all my ducks in a row so we are not held up in any way! Gotta get this vacay STARTED!!! LOL:D

  10. HELP!!!! We had plans to go to Mr. Sanchos on Monday when we dock in Cozumel but I just checked the weather and there is a 50% chance of rain most of the day. Do I cancel our reservations and if so WHAT DO WE DO IN THE RAIN?
