  1. Live music on the lido deck. Dump the DJs.

I agree with this one as well!!!! Love the steel drum bands on deck while catching some rays!!!!!

I would love to see Carnival add music to the other pools as well! For example, we were on the Conquest last April and liked the more secluded pool at the back of the ship but it got a little boring after a while with no music to listen to!!! I'm not sure if they offer any music on serenity deck but I'm hoping so for our cruise next month because that is really where I want to spend my time on deck!!'

  2. We sailed Paradise at the end of July and never had a wait for YTD.

I'm hoping this is the case for us!!! We did YTD on Conquest last April and never waited any longer than about 5 minutes!! I've seen a lot of people comment that it depended on when you show up! So I will keep my fingers crossed, worse case scenario we go to the bar and have a drink while we wait!!! :D

  3. We had Your Time Dining on the Paradise in early December and do not recommend. Had to wait a minimum of 30 minutes each dinner. We've done YTD before on Legend and Breeze with no issues, but on Paradise it didn't seem ideal. If we saile Paradise, (or any Fantasy class ship), in the future, we'll be certain to get either early or late seating.

Still had a fantastic time. :)

Thanks for the heads up!!! How many people were in your party? We may switch to late dining if we can? Also, what time did you typically go? We like to go about 7:15-7:30 normally!!

  4. DH and I purchased the cheers program on our 7 day cruise in April and I really went back and forth as to whether or not we would come out better with it. We got our money's worth on the program but I was SO SICK of drinking when we got off the cruise that I didn't drink for a long time!!! I felt like I HAD to drink at least 6-7 drinks a day so that we "broke even" and there was only one day that either of us hit our limit. We are going on another cruise in a few weeks and I don't think we are going to purchase the package this time. I just don't feel like I drink enough EVERY DAY to pay for it. Sure, there are days, like the first day and sea days that I could get my money's worth but on all the other days I just don't feel like it is worth the extra cost!! I'd rather have a massage...:D JMHO!!!

  5. The other days what ever we had left at the end of the night we would get unopened beers. During port days we would take the unopened beers with us, in a collapsible cooler into port. Saved us some money while in port!

This is exactly what I intend to do!! You didn't have any problems taking them off the ship??

  6. I got no notification with a non handicapped involved, upgrade I got on the Conquest 3-9-14, cheap inside to balcony. I don't care where I am and only second time this type of upgrade has happened in 87 cruises. :) Was a nice surprise from Carnival.

Just curious, did you book thru carnival directly, with a TA or thru another travel site? I would LOVE to get bumped from an inside to a balcony considering the price for the balcony room is $10 cheaper pp than what we paid when we booked!! We tried to call the travel site we used but they would not upgrade or move us without having to pay more $$ and we are too close to cancel and rebook!!
