Hi, I don't know the particulars of your situation, but there is a chance that the reason you don't have a reference number may have to do with your TA putting you into a group reservation. That's what happened to me one year when I booked a cruise myself direct with a cruise line (Crystal) and then gave that reservation (and all the work I had done) to a TA who belongs to a large consortium. She neither asked nor informed me that she had slipped me into a group reservation, which changed my reservation number, and I had similar problems to what you described. Just a thought.

Any update on including a sparkling wine to the inclusive list?

 

I very much enjoy bubblies, and sparkling wine is inexpensive and a suitable substitute for champagne in cocktails such as kir royale. Prosecco/cava is quite inexpensive, as are some decent french sparkling wines such as crémant d'Alsace or crémant de Bourgogne. In Europe, these retail for 3-6 euros per bottle in stores; no doubt Azamara can procur a decent quality one at very reasonable price!

We are booked through a Cruise Company and have no such number as yet

But at least We know it is the 29th now not the 28th so can plan our days now

This is a copy of an email I received today in response top my query abiut Shuttle service in Bangkok (Klomg Toey)

Good day,

 

The Azamara Journey will be docking (as always in the past) at Klong Toey and we provide shuttle buses to the mall (approx. 20mins ride), inside Bangkok as the city is so huge and from there you could go anywhere, depending on your purpose.

 

But Bangkok is so massive and we always have a hospitality service onboard that could assist you with questions.

Good afternoon,

We are docked in the best possible location ever inside Bangkok unlike the big Celebrity Ships outside the city. The shuttle bus was placed as the mall was quite closer to the night market. But location wise, we are close (with a bus ride) to so many places of interests in Bangkok :-)

I called Azamara to confirm our docks in the ports:

Bangkok - docking at a commercial area at Klong Toey - free shuttles to the center of

Klong Toey not Bangkok which is 7 K from Klong Toey

HCMC - docking in commercial area - Free Shuttle to town

Da Nang - docking in commercial port 10 K from town. Free shuttle into CC Danang

Halong Bay - Tender port. Tenders will drop off in Halong Bay city center

Hong Kong - Ocean Terminal

Anyone know about Cabin 6032 Obbstructed View ???

The 2 answers regarding Fees ETC do not seem to correlate

Either Azamara has FREE shuttle buses to the Centre or they dont

We are cruising on the 'NorthBound' cruise prior to this one travelling from Singapore to Honk Kong

Anyone give us the CORRECT answer??
