I got on for the Jade in Dec. 16 :(. It sounds like Houston was a short lived port for NCL. We really liked it in Feb. if this year.

We went to a place called Banana Beach Resort it was nice! I think we paid $30 a person. Did not include food or additional drinks. You do get one drink included in the price. Nice beach the also have a pool there with slide.
Thank you, was this through NCL?

We'll be boarding in less than 2 weeks and I wonder what your thoughts were about Trujillo? Thanks!

Thank you all! We sail on the Jewel in 2 weeks and can't wait!

One of the things we loved in the past was Fried Calamari in the main dining room during lunch or anytime really. Are they still serving this at anytime?

I've enjoyed your review, thanks for sharing! My hubby and I sail on her in 2 weeks. Can't wait!

We've been assigned our cabin, and cruise is in 23 days. Is it possible they'll change it again?

Great review! We sail on her in February and can't wait. Good luck with your vertigo. I always come home with it, but the vacation is worth it!

We went last spring in another line and were told the same thing. Be aware of your surroundings just like at home was our motto. We didn't see anything that was off and felt safe.

We've cruised many times, but never GTY until this time. We have no clue what to expect!

We had a long wait and were in zone 15 on the Magic on 3/16. Galveston seems to be slower than other ports we've been through! It was almost 11 by the time we got outside of the building :(. There were no porters and we should've done self assist as we were able to carry our own luggage. We learned our lesson for there!

There was a code Sierra called around 10:30 Saturday night. I didn't hear the other announcements :(

We sailed in side by side interiors on Ecstasy with a 3/2 split since 5 in a cabin wasn't an option. You probably could in a suite.

It's only for Texas residents, it would be the same as going across the border to Mexico. We have paid those taxes for as long as I can remember.

That happened on a cruise we've been on before. People were escorted off the ship at the first port. They weren't allowed to shut their door or leave the room. It was illegal drugs found in their case.

Punky, were you able to purchase your pass ahead of time? TIA!

Following, I'd love to know as well.

This is only for Texas residents. We've had to pay this for years if you visit Mexico (drive/walk across the border). They've just added it to cruises. I think another post discussed this and it's still cheaper than buying it locally
